hi i feel terrible doing this but….we still haven’t paid our rent.
my grandma was sick and in the hospital for a month and seeing as we are her only children we were tasked with taking care of her. i quit my only job to stay at home with her and basically nurse her, for the past two months because she cant even walk anymore. we were changing her, bathing her, the whole nine. none of us even had a bed to sleep on and yet we stayed with her. however, she’s always been spiteful and abusive and she did not want me nor my mom or sister living with her or taking care of her, and she got her sister to come and kick us out of the house.
we are okay, and luckily we didn’t give up our old apartment, but the rent has gotten terribly behind due to the two months we lost taking care of her. our landlord took pity on us while she was sick and allowed us to wait to pay him, but he won’t wait anymore and we got this letter on our door today.
i do not want to be put out. we cannot lose our home. my sister is 9 and she needs a place to stay, even if it is our little one bedroom apartment. especially now, since we have nowhere to go. this was printed on the 15. we likely habe a few days to come up with this money. I have $300 to my name.
my mom has a small business selling clothes on ebay, and she does well, but with my job gone which was our main stable income, we are at a loss.
