[id: a long comic about Ditto, the shape-shifting Pokémon.
Panel one reads, “In the Pokemon anime there’s a trainer who has 2 defective ditto.” The image is of Duplica, a Japanese girl with blue pigtails and a star shirt, holds one Ditto in each arm. The one on the left is labelled, “This ditto can’t transform their face,” and is in the form of Pikachu with the face of a Ditto. The one on the right is labelled, “And this one can’t control their size,” and appears to be a normal Ditto.
Panel two reads, “There are only these 2 ditto in the anime, but I have headcanons for a few more.” The image shows the two Ditto from the first panel, the first in the form of a Dratini with the face of a Ditto and the second in the form of an Onyx that is the same size as the Dratini.
The next panels show a number of Ditto with various quirks to their transformations.
Can’t change their color: a Ditto in the form of a Gengar, but retaining Ditto’s light, vibrant purplish-pink coloring.
Can’t change their face back: a Ditto in its own blob form, but with the facial features of a Gyarados.
Retains ditto-like malleability: a Ditto as Psyduck, who is being stretched like taffy.
Can’t quite transform completely: a Ditto as Bulbasaur, but its back half and the ends of its vine tendrils remain the color and texture of Ditto. It is using its vine tendrils to stretch the aforementioned Psyduck Ditto.
Can only transform into ditto: A Ditto. It looks slightly disgruntled.
The next panels show a smiling Ditto. Text reads, “Can transform perfectly...” It zooms in on Ditto’s face, showing a nervous expression. in all caps, It reads, “...but only once.” end id]
