Is there anyone out there familiar enough with Tamil to help me with a world building thing?

I’ve previously used Latin to come up with the names of my creatures, but my Tamil-inspired character has a creature that is the first of its kind. I’d like her to come up with a name for it combining two Tamil words and I’d just like an opinion from someone who understands the language.

TLDR: I’d like someone familiar with the Tamil language to help me name my fantasy creature.

Hi friends! I’m so sorry I haven’t been keeping up with tags, life happens. I see and appreciate each and every one of you!

After months of searching I have finally found a creature artist so I will have some new art to show off soon 💜 and maybe some new scenes for TTW to discuss.

I cried the entire time I was reading Sunrise on the Reaping and I’m so dehydrated that I might never recover.

Switching from bracelets to a brand is so funny to me because I always planned on getting a permanent bracelet to celebrate TTW’s future publication (when it happens-WHEN)

I don’t think I’ll be getting branded though.

I know I keep saying this but I swear I will be posting more regularly soon.

I’m starting a new job in a few weeks but up until then I am dealing with petty and disrespectful coworkers and it’s drained all of my energy and spirit. I’m just feeling pretty overwhelmed by negativity and my creative spark is more like a dying ember.

I’ll be okay. I just need a little more time.

Controversial, but I think it's harmful to tell people you're never going to write something good on the first try or it's always going to be pure garbage, like that may be helpful for some on some level, but I personally don't think it's a healthy way of thinking, and it causes others to second guess work that is good. Is editing often helpful? Yes. But you're not going to have to Ship of Theseus everything you ever make. Anyway, the phrase "idk, man, it depends" strikes again.

I swear I haven’t read The Wheel of Time until today but there are a handful of things that are alarmingly similar to TTW. I’m haunted. I realize that original thought doesn’t really exist anymore but how can I rip off something if I’ve never heard of it???

Robert Jordan please don’t sue me.

Some people had an issue with the bracelets but they do serve a purpose. And unfortunately for Adrin, he has to be injured in Ch. 1 so now instead of a minor burn that will heal right away he’s getting branded.

Are you satisfied? Or will he and Mara need to have matching left hands in the next draft?

(I’m not actually mad I’m just a little salty that the word “bracelet” shows up in my feedback more than the names of my characters)

How would you describe their personality/aesthetic?

She’s a very proud, very confident person. She doesn’t need the journey of self-discovery that the other MCs do—she’s the leader that they’re desperately missing. One of my favorite things about her is her bluntness. It’s never used for cruelty, but to coax the best versions of others out. It’s why she and Adrin work so well together. He’s a sad, wet blanket of a man, and she’s the spark that ignites him.

Her aesthetic: Sunlight peeking through the gaps in the trees on a crisp autumn morning. The smell of a campfire mixed with a hint of leather and pine needles.

What's your favourite thing about them?

She doesn’t let anything stand in her way, ever. If she wants something, she gets it, and if it’s not possible, she finds something better. I wish I was more like her sometimes.

Fun facts about them/their creation?

Her familiar isn’t like the others, where it’s an extension of their personality. Hers is meant to challenge her, first and foremost because it happens to be something she’s terrified of. Not only that, it doesn’t give her wisdom, it inspires her to find it within herself. Her name is Sakari and she’s tied for my favorite creature with Irk right now. I’ll be introducing her officially somewhat soon!

How would you describe their personality/aesthetic? Personality: Alina enjoys socializing. She’s the leader the other werewolves look to for guidance when there’s a problem. She hates to see people suffer. Aesthetic: an archer draws back their bow, focuses on the target, their breathing, the wind—and releases.

What's your favourite thing about them? She knows how to handle a crisis and acts quickly.

Fun facts about them/their creation? Alina didn’t exist in the first version of Copper Frames where Amelia was the protagonist. I made her for the new version where Svitlana is the protag. Alina was originally supposed to be a co-leader with Viktoria but since writing the story out more it became clear to me that Viktoria looks to her for guidance like the others.
