His lovely metaphor -- him being a songbird that just found it's voice -- was more meaningful to you than it should have been. You were his voice. His reason. Everything he had ever strived for and more. And he was yours. You found solace in the fact that he loved you as much as you loved him -- it was what you had always dreamed. You always pictured this, minus the tears. A happy family that loved each other. It was the innocent little hope of a child without a family, but you didn't mind how childish the idea was. It was real. It happens and it's happening now. He's right here for you, and that's all you've ever wanted.

He begins to sing -- a familiar lullaby that you have slept to since a little kid. You always played it, as well as others, before you went off to sleep. It relaxed you in ways neither Squarewave nor Sawtooth could. No amount of holding or soft rapping could amount to what those videos were capable of for you. You stay quiet as he sings, only speaking up to softly sing the melody with him before you quiet down again.

No matter what obstacles were thrown in front of either of you, you would never stop loving each other. No matter what.

I actually remember it.
