Fanfic: Hiro walks in on any BH6 ship of your choice kissing. Humiliation and awkwardness ensure.
Ooooo yes!!!! And for the ship, my first thought was Tadahoney because to me, nothing could be more embarrassing/awkward than walking in on your own brother kissing someone. XD
Characters: Hiro Hamada, Tadashi Hamada and Honey Lemon
Word Count: 840 (wow this is really short)
Summary: Hiro walks in on his brother kissing Honey Lemon and he is totally grossed out! (and yes…..Alive!Tadashi!!!!!)
It was a late night at the institute and all the friends were still there doing their own thing. Hiro had just finished up some touch ups on his latest project and he was exhausted. It was time to go home, so Hiro walked down the hall to Tadashi’s lab.
“Tadashi! It’s time to go!” Hiro shouted as he got closer to his room. He knew he was never allowed in the lab unless his brother gave him permission to be there. He usually got a response back from Tadashi telling him he’s be right out, but he heard nothing.
Hiro approached the door giving it a couple knocks. “Tadashi?”
There still was no answer.
Maybe he fell asleep in there, Hiro thought. Tadashi has been known to pull a couple all-nighters and getting no sleep during the day either, so perhaps he crashed out on him.
As quietly as he could, Hiro opened the door making sure it didn’t make a noise in case Tadashi really was sleeping.
“Tadashi,” Hiro whispered. “Time to g–”
But as Hiro welcomed himself in, he saw something that was not sleeping.
By the circular window, he caught the sight of Tadashi with their good friend Honey Lemon wrapped around in each others arms…kissing. Hiro wanted to saw something, but all he could do was stand there with his arms dangling and jaw dropped. He had never seen Tadashi kiss anyone, although he knows he has done it before, but to see him actually doing it and with a friend? Well, I guess they were a little more than friends since they were sucking faces.
The whole kissing thing is still a little new to Hiro. Sure, when he went to high school, he saw couples making out all the time. It grossed him out even then, especially since was a child in comparison to them. This was different. It was his own brother and one of his friends. Two people that he cared about a lot.
Hiro didn’t have a proper response to this, so what came out of his mouth was something that an inexperienced fourteen-year-old boy would say.
“Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww,” Hiro let out. It wasn’t even out of sarcasm; this was Hiro being naturally grossed out.
Tadashi and Honey Lemon heard that and were at first startled by being interrupted, but when they saw it was Hiro, there was a combination of embarrassment and humor in their faces.
Although, Tadashi was a bit more flustered than Honey Lemon. There was no hiding that he was blushing up to his ears and was frantic picking up his hat from the floor which fell off while Honey Lemon was stroking the back of his head.
“Hiro, what are you doing in here?” Tadashi asked.
Now it was Hiro that was flustered. “I tried to call out to you, but you weren’t answering…” and then Hiro started getting even worse. “soIthoughtyouweresleepingandwhenIcamein…..” Hiro held at his arms and moved them up and down motioning what he walked into wasn’t something he hadn’t planned on seeing. “THIS WAS HAPPENING.”
Tadashi couldn’t hold back a small laugh. “What….kissing,” he said in a playful tone.
Hiro covered his ears and groaned.
“Oh, Hiro don’t worry. Someday you’ll be kissing someone and it’ll be really special,” Honey Lemon said.
“Yeah, well not any time soon,” Hiro said before groaning again. “I don’t even want to think about that! Just….” Hiro did the hand motions to them again. “You two? Really?”
Tadashi and Honey Lemon laughed whilst smiling at each other. “Yeah, what’s the problem?” asked Honey Lemon.
Come to think of it, Hiro really didn’t have a problem with them being a couple. He just didn’t have a warning or heads up about it. “N-nothing! I was just surprised…”
Tadashi chuckled again. “Well, it’s time for us to go home anyway. G’night, Honey.” Tadashi was about to lean in to Honey Lemon as he got up, but Hiro looked away groaning again.
“Aww, come on man! I’m in the room!”
“Relax, you big baby, I was just gonna give her a kiss on the forehead,” Tadashi stated as he pecked Honey Lemon on the base of her forehead causing her to smile. “Y’know, kinda like the forehead kisses I used to give you when you were little.”
Hiro started blushing again. “You promised you would never tell anyone about that!”
“Hiro, they were only forehead kisses. It helped you go to sleep at night, especially after a nightmare.”
“Whatever, come on. We gotta get home…I’ll read you a bedtime story!” Tadashi teased as he walked out the door of his lab.
“I haven’t let you read me a bedtime story since I was in the sixth grade!” Hiro commented storming out the room with Honey Lemon trailing behind.
“Perhaps he could sing you to sleep,” Honey Lemon chimed in.
“NOOOO, Tadashi’s singing voice is terrible!”
“You sound like you’re dying!”
“So did you when you walked in on me and Honey.”
Haha, yeah! As short as this fanfic was (not as short as Hiro though), I really enjoyed writing it. Thanks to the anonymous user for the request. Poor Hiro, he’s never gonna get this visual out of his mind. Look, I’m going to be completely honest here…I don’t have a particulat ship that I like in Big Hero 6. I picked Tadahoney not only because I think it would be incredibly embarrassing for Hiro to walk in on his own brother kissing someone, but if he was still alive, I can see them working out. Not that I would enjoy seeing Honey Lemon with my man, but I think they could work. If not this ship, my second choice was going to be Gogo and Wasabi. What’s their ship name? Gosabi? Wasago? I dunno…Let’s just say the only ship I fully support is Tadashi with myself. I don’t care if I’m not a BH6 character, it counts. But I hope this was as embarrassing and awkward as you wanted! :D
