Her body was believed to have been found earlier today in a lake with a bat found at the scene. It is believed that this body is hers and that the bad was used to murder her.Â

Police believe a body found Sunday afternoon in a pond in the 21500 block of Ridgetop Circle in Sterling, Virginia, is a 17-year-old girl from Reston, Virginia, who was reported missing in the area hours earlier.
Officers started searching for the girl about 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of Dranesville Road and Woodson Drive in Herndon, Fairfax County Officer Tawny Wright said in a news conference Sunday evening. Some of the girlâs friends reported to police they couldnât find her. They told police they were walking together in the area when the girl got into a dispute with a man who drove by in a car. The man got out of his car and assaulted the girl, Wright said.â

A lot of people act like higher divorce rates are indicative of a loss or morality or commitment in our generation, but to be honest, I always am glad when I see high divorce rates because it means people are leaving abusive and unhealthy relationships at higher rates. It means that fewer women are dependent on men and can decide for themselves what they want their life to be.Â
Republicans act like higher divorce rates and fewer young adults wanting to get married is a bad thing when really itâs just a sign of social progress and greater autonomy.Â
