The ticking time bomb. That’s what Hermione loved calling the clock on her wrist. She had watched the time slowly dwindle away over the years, she was growing up, laughing at the fact that it was suppose to tell you when you are to meet your ‘soul-mate’ She didn’t really believed that one would meet them at that exact moment, anything can happen to their other half before that time. So the witch had ignored it throughout her life, besides there was more pressing matters than one finding their soul-mate.
As the years passed by, the second wizarding war had come and gone, the know-it-all witch had started paying more attention to the ticking time bomb. All those days, hours and minutes had come and gone leaving only a few couple of seconds when she was finally to meet the ‘one’. But she doubted it was ever going to happen since she was all alone in the lift at the Ministry, until it stopped and Harry had board, when the final second finally vanish, leaving a set of six zeros in its place.
“Harry?” Hermione breathed, shock taking over her body as her eyes glanced quickly between the now stopped clock to her best friend. “Did.....did yours come to an end too?”
