Headcanon that "Mike" is an Entity that Toriel and Asgore used to invoke to get Kris & Asriel to do stuff (eg: "Wash your teeth, Kris, or Mike will be very disappointed!") and that he just stuck as a Bit. (The Holidays, Rudy especially, join in on it too)

Like "Cmon, Mike, let's wash these dishes" or "Don't skip your bedtime or else Mike will get you, hee hee!"

But that this has had the hilarious side-effect of causing an epidemic of darkners named mike, and that since 'The Real Mike's physical features are ever-changing, no ones sure if theyre the most accurate mike
