“Of course I’m right!! I’m just looking out for you! Gotta take good care of that brain of yours!”

*Undyne tapped across the room, headed towards the cube in the far corner. She was almost there when Alphys began flailing in her arms. Pausing and trying to hold her so she wouldn’t fall, Undyne blinked in surprise. She finally set the other woman down, brows furrowed in concern.

“What’s so important that you’re freaking out so bad?? Is something wrong? I’ll help you out, if you want! We can get it done faster together, you know? Then you can get the rest you definitely need!!”

*It had been some time since Undyne had visited the Royal Scientist, and her personal Good Friend, Dr. Alphys. She’d been REALLY BUSY with some kind of project lately, and the lat thing Undyne wanted to do was get in the way-- even if she missed hanging out. Still....... it’d been a really long time now, and Undyne was starting to get a little concerned.

*It was her job, after all, to protect the people of the underground... so it’d be normal to come visit, right??

*Bereft of her usual armor so she wouldn’t die of heatstroke, Undyne got a drink from the water cooler that Alphys had set up for her as she walked into Hotland, the heat heating her like a wall between it and Waterfall. Fins flicking back, she persevered, heading down the path to the lab-- .. and seeing Alphys passed out on the ground by her lab door.

“Alphys?!!”

*The warrior sprinted, sliding on her knees just before her and scooping the doctor up into her lap. She wasn’t really sure what to do so she just.. poured the remainder of her water directly on Alphys’s face and papped her cheek a few times. Well ‘papped’... more like smacked, perhaps a little too hard.

“Snap out of it!!”
