Stepping out of her cab Úrsula looked up at the brick warehouse in front of her. Hedon was an odd place for a famous photographer to have a studio in, but hey maybe the rent was killer. Taking off her sunglasses she looked around and had to admit this was one of the nicer parts of Hedon she'd ever been to. An unlikely place for the paparazzi to be she still had dressed for the cameras. One never knew when you were being stalked by the paparazzi because your bestie had started a rumor you were dating the Internet's Boyfriend of the Month.
Stepping into a dark and dingy entryway she looked around for any sign of a receptionist finding none. She'd been in shadier places in her life, but this was a famous high fashion photographer, she expected something nicer. Úrsula double checked her location was right before venturing in farther.
The elevator ride to the top was short and when the doors opened the tiny room was flooded with light. Sunlight streamed in through large windows bouncing off white walls. The room she walked out into took up the whole floor. A giant backdrop was set up against one wall with lights and cameras. On the other side of the room were racks of clothes and makeup.
Now where was the photographer? Surprisingly little pictures of him existed online. Looking around she noted the obvious hair and makeup team, the stylist standing by the clothes and a small team of people messing with the lights. One of them broke off and practically ran over to her.
"Miss Avecedo! Just on time, in fact I'd say you're a little early. Please let me introduce you to everyone."
Following the perky assistant over to the cameras she was shocked at how handsome the man that turned around was.
"This is the Trystan Pavlatos." She barely heard her introduce the other assistants as she stared at him. There was something there behind his polite smile that drew her in.
"A pleasure to meet you. I trust I'll be in good hands with you." Úrsula said holding out her hand.
