those comms have me thinking about angel and anne's dynamic......loud wistful sigh

back when they were in high school, anne (sabine) was MEGA into angel (cassidy), but sabine never acted on it, especially because at the time they weren't as close and it was clear as day that cassidy was in love with her friend ricky

in present day, anne pursues angel, having figured out who angel was before the vice versa (as both parties hide their real identities). the only reason anne found out was because they started crushing on angel, and only really figured out angel was cassidy after trying to learn more about their mysterious dj crush

anne pretty quickly admits to angel that they know her true identity, but then also gives their own identity in return, and the two strike a deal to not spill each other's beans

subtlety is not anne's forte in the slightest. from calling into k-ghoul for romance songs dedicated to a "special someone" while also in the studio with angel, to constantly finding ways to compliment angel, and everything in between... angel got the message fast. luckily for anne, angel wasn't opposed to trying out something with anne

while they don't officially label their relationship at first, anne is immediately BEYOND themself, and will refer to angel with every petname under the sun. particularly, "my angel" is common, but also: honey, darling, sugar plum, babe/baby, sweetie, wifey, etc etc etc

conversely, i think angel also uses sweetie for anne the most, but will match anne's energy, and it gets anne SOOO FLUSTERED every single time without fail. like what do you MEAN you can do it BACK!?

anne loves "finding" (dubious-sourced) jewelry for angel, who will sometimes question where it came from, but at the end of the day finds the sentiment cute. anne may not have the most apparent moral compass, but they ARE a romantic, that's for sure

anne's also a biiiiiig fan of pda, and you'll likely see anne attached to angel at the hip whenever they're together. anne loves to hug angel, sling an arm around her, hopefully even pepper some quick kisses on her cheek

angel also returns it, albeit more toned back. she'll usually just stick to one quick kiss, but to be honest, that's all it takes to get anne all giddy and giggly. anne is veeeery easy to please when it comes to affection

i probably also have stuff for the no-nibiru timeline, but i think the show's main timeline is a loooot more fun to mess with, because anne is far more different across timelines than angel is. the constant of being in love is still absolutely present though no matter which timeline you look at
