We would be 100% less bitter about 99% of diversity movements if not for black (+Asian) tumblr making literally every struggle of theirs out to be worse than other poc and telling other races they're not as oppressed or don't have as much of a right to visibility/resources/etc. Being Latino on tumblr is so fucking different from being black or Asian. You're literally never talked about, when you talk up about struggles or needing x y z you're told you have it better than other poc even if those other poc are literally in better situations than you. You're told you look white enough to not be oppressed. You're told your people never experienced slavery (spoiler alert: we did), that we never experienced our land or people being taken from us (spoiler alert: we did) and that we never struggled to be seen as people while many of us were murdered (spoiler alert: we did). Like honestly I fucking love my fellow people of color. I love them like crazy and until they've been abusive I'll stand by them tooth and nail. But black tumblr, the side that ignores any black person's ill behavior and slings shit at latinos for not "being oppressed enough"? qué chingados
