Sometimes I would talk about how one was "misgendering one's self" if they had say, unaddressed trauma that impeded what they actually wanted out of their transitioning (ex: a people pleaser putting thier needs last to their own detriment without realizing how that would cut into the perception of them as male, though they could decide they were fine with the idea of being a kind person though people pleasing is still disordered) but the way truscum use it...? Absolute BS.
The problem is with the 'transfeminists' claim here that say it is they can't accept that a lot of trans people aren't that insecure about their past, which is why they say you're misgendering yourself, they haven't completed that process of self-actualization that has lead to security in their identity and are taking it out on the rest of the community.
