Patronus - Corporeal or Non-Corporeal: Rita’s patronus is a fox, for what a quick sly little thing she is. Her ears are sharp, and so is her tongue, not to mentioned the fact she is so two faced. She was not really surprised when she first cast the charm for the millionth time and the little animal sprung forth. It was really rather cute she supposed, but one of the older Slytherin’s made fun of her for it. She got him back though. Funny, how easy it was to find out he was fucking his sister’s boyfriend. 

Amortentia: The smell of new ink, fills Rita with a sort of euphoria, and it always has, so it was no surprise when she first inhaled the Amortentia that was the most prominent scent. Next came Butterbeer, also hardly a shock, after all she really did love the stuff, and with alcohol came secrets. However the third scent was one that sent a chill down her spine, made her brows draw together with confusion and her bite down on one of those red painted lips. Why was she smelling blood?

You are called into Dumbledore’s office, and asked the following questions. Answer them from your character’s point of view

1.  What do you think about the rumors of a war rising outside Hogwarts? I think it will be tragic, but quite interesting to watch from a far. People picking sides, getting all caught up in the drama off it, making mistakes, betraying each other. I have no doubt you know of my little gossip column, Sir so I will be completely honest. It will bring me plenty of things to write about. But the real question is what do you think about the rumors?

2.  What is your thoughts on the muggle world? I have few thoughts on it. I’ve never spent much time with juggles.

3.  Would you support you-know-who? I find it is in my best interest to support whichever side is winning. 

4.  Who do you think has already shown their support to him? Part of sustaining impartiality, Headmaster, is not giving away the secrets of either side. In this case, with all do respect I must obtain from comment. 

5.  If you don’t support you know who, what would you want to do to fight against what he’s trying to accomplish? I have no intent to fight for either side. My efforts are best directing to preserving my own safety. Now, I must ask, what sort of efforts are you personally putting in in order to defeat you-know-who? 

6.  What are you feelings on muggleborns? I have none for the group as a whole.

Birthday: She was born on Halloween. 

Wand: Larch wood, Vela hair, twelve inches, quite firm.

Patronus - Corporeal or Non-Corporeal: At this point in her life I do not believe Marlene would be able to cast a Patronus charm, but when she does gain the ability, it would be a coyote.  The particular creatures are know for being clever, mischievous and very playful. They are capable of hunting in packs but more often opt solitude, which is much like how I see Miss McKinnon.The memory she would use to form the Patronus would be this time in the common room, just lazing about with all of her mates. Her head was laid in Lily’s lap, who was braiding her hair and James was telling some ridiculous story involving a midget, his transfiguration text book, three different birds, all named Carla and the back of a muggle car. Sirius had snuck in some butterbeer which they were all drinking and everyone was laughing and smiling. For the life of her Marlene couldn’t remember ever being that telexed and at peace before, her worries (of which there were) many stolen away by the heat of the fire and the sound of Remus’ records which they were playing.

Amortentia: Marlene would smell pine trees and linen with undertones of smoke and whiskey, perhaps even a very faint trace of sex or coffee.

1.  What do you think about the rumors of a war rising outside Hogwarts? What do I think of them? I think they’re true. I think there are people so fuc- messed up out there that they actually give a damn about blood purity. I think they get off on hurting others and have such a power complex that they think this arbitrary thing, this thing they can’t control in the slightest actually makes them better than other people.

2.  What is your thoughts on the muggle world? I don’t know all that much, to be honest. Besides their music is bloody brilliant, but from what my muggle born friends have told me it’s really quite nice. I just can’t imagine actually having to clean by hand. 

3.  Would you support you-know-who? Oh, yes of course. I plane fit in meeting on how to over take the world in between my regular class attendances, long study sessions, time spend ironing my robes, and routing heavily for those fucking snakes in every Quidditch game. Oh, and of course getting married and having seventy children. 

No, I would not.

4.  Who do you think has already shown their support to him? Probably those Carrows, Mulicber, the Blacks, other than Sirius, you know, just any pure blood Slytherin with a stick up their arse. 

5.  If you don’t support you know who, what would you want to do to fight against what he’s trying to accomplish? That depends entirely on what needs to be done. Honestly, the moment I’m out of here I intend to be fighting for the right side of this thing. I would rather die fighting than see this battle lost. I’m just… I don’t want to watch anyone else die. 

6. What are your feelings on muggle borns? That depends on the muggle born.

It was more than just pain, it transcended agony or thats how it felt some nights any way. Marlene never talked about it, there were people around her going through worse, and she could see in her friends eyes when she mourned allowed, they all thought the same thing on same level. He was just her boyfriend. Not her husband, her daughter, her sister or her mother. Her boyfriend. The word fell so far short of what he had really been to her though. She had loved him with all her heart, she had planned the rest of her life with him and now he was gone forever, or the person her really had been was, not some rotted zombie. 

There was a secret though, one she never dared to whisper to anyone, or admit. The night her died Marlene had kicked him out of the flat they shared. She had told him to get out, that she hated him and he had died because of it. If she had just let him stay they would still be together, he wouldn't be dead because of her. 

She had come home that night to find him with another girl, a beautiful blond with stunning green eyes and the kind of breasts Marlene lacked. They had been kissing, his hand up blouse and her legs around his waist. The image was burned into the former Gryffindor's mind forever. He had cheated on her and made her feel like a worthless woman, cheap and used and she had gotten him killed for it. Some nights she wondered why she deserved to live.

Though his magic repertoire evolved into much more complex stunts, the nickname from his early stages stuck with the public and with those who knew him.
