psa: I’m going to start using DAKOTA as teresa’s modern name. Dee Dee is her nickname. She went by Teresa as a baby, because it was her mother’s name; after her mother abandoned her father and her, he started calling her Dee Dee and she’s been Dakota ever since.

{ I have a BIG test that I have to study my bUTT off for this week, so I’m going to put all my blogs on a lil’ hiatus till next weekend, or like Feb. 26th. I am going to try to resist the temptation to even log on to tumblr, tbh. If you message me and I see it, I’ll respond, but if I don’t respond I’ll get to it next week!

{ notes about shipping with my Elizabeth Bennet:

a. )) I will only ship with one of each character, meaning no duplicates will have a romantic relationship with my character. I haven’t made a list of characters I ship with and I don’t really intend to -- but yeah, if I’ve talked to you about shipping, just know yours is the only version of that character I’ll ship with ( this rule is subjected to change, depending on blogs deleting and stuff like that -- or if I just see fit? )

b. )) No matter how much Lizzy knows or is comfortable around your muse, she will call them Mr. BLAH BLAH BLAH in the public eye and in the private eye ( up until they are engaged ). This isn’t because she’s being too formal or she doesn’t like yours, it’s just canonically LIZZY ( as well as all p&p females of regency england in the early 1800s ). If your muse says something along the lines of “You can call me John ect. ect.” well, it won’t happen. I’m writing Lizzy how I think is most accurate to P&P and to the period, and that’s by using last names when addressing a person ( I mean, she calls Darcy by his last name for the entirety of the book! Even after she falls in love w/ him! ) I don’t mind if your muse does say “Call me John,” but just so you know, Lizzy won’t stray from “Mr. BLAH BLAH BLAH” till we plot engagement or marriage ( and then sometimes she’ll even say Mr. BLAH BLAH BLAH then depending on circumstance, like who she’s talking to )
