; i’m 10/10 sure cassandra considers herself to be a very SELFISH person. ( even though she has done the world a favor and isolated herself so far away where she can’t get close to people so they won’t die because of her. ) i mean, she sees herself like that because she kind of caves at some point. like, if she fell in love with someone, and most of her would start screaming at her to go because it’s for the best. she shouldn’t be around people. but like the other part of her ( a very small part ) says STAY because it’ll be okay maybe this time. maybe whoever it is won’t die. she caves because she eventually gives into the tiny part of her that thinks it’s a good idea to STAY this time. so therefore, she thinks she’s pretty selfish ( choosing to risk losing someone by staying rather than leaving like she should. )

; okay but imagine. cassandra in the corner of her room, her kitten purring against her ankle before she just curls herself. and her face is all tear struck and her eyes are red and she’s so tired and exhausted she’s been crying for hours straight. and she’s falling apart with a broken heart. because she just wants to be happy but everything she ever loves/cares about never stays much long. and she’s so a l o n e. and for someone who chooses to be isolated, she hates feeling alone.
