Does your Maglor/Daeron fic take place in the same verse as Maglor being Gil-Galad’s dad? Because if so, Gil-Galad finding would be TERRIBLE (you should do it)

That was not my intention, but you are correct, that would be amazing (Maglor from the ‘Star of Radiance’ AU will end up with Eönwë at the end though, so like, I won’t ever officially combine the two verses).

But boy is it a great thing to think about.

Just… Gil-Galad (and Elrond) thinking their dad is dead for centuries and then finding him living in a highly unusual (and slightly unhealthy) relationship with his former rival in this ramshackle house that these two idiots managed to cobble together.

I do headcanon that Daeron’s house from Beg so Sweetly is in the valley that will later end up Rivendell, so Elrond would find them while he’s fleeing the fall of Eregion. That does mean that Celeborn is also at this reunion, and yes, he does know Daeron, and yes, he is 100% Done with everyone’s shit.

Apollo is Roy’s brother, without a doubt. They can be called clones or what have you, but as far as Roy sees it, Apollo is family. 

They started out rocky, absolutely, finding out he was clone left Roy unsure of his place in life and with an existential void in his chest.. His search for the original Roy he was sure was going to be the last thing he did, he was sure that Apollo was going to take back his name and retake his place.. 

And when he didn’t? When he gave Roy the chance to be the only person he has never known him to be? He was absolutely relieved, it lifted so much weight off his shoulder to still be him. He knows in a way he tore Apollo’s identity from him but Apollo had the option to star anew, to be someone new..

It was still rocky for a while. Roy didn’t know how to talk to Arsenal, and Arsenal was intimidating any way.. 

Eventually the walls came down and eventually Roy and him talked, slowly they got accustom to each other. It’s still awkward and hard some times, but what set of siblings doesn’t have an occasionally hard time?

Apollo is his first family and Roy would do anything for him.

Lian is the light of Roy’s life. 

Before, when it was just Jade and Roy, it was bitter and painful to be with her, but he was slowly breaking away for her.. It was hard work, but one day it was just him trying to get through life. And then one day it was him, and Jade again, and Lian. 

Having a girl handed over to him by Jade and being able to prove she was Roy’s left him pretty shaken and scared, and he really knew the moment she was in his arms they needed to get away from her and the Light. Lian is the reason Roy cleaned up his life, she is the reason he stepped away from Jade and got himself off the streets, got himself clean on the drinking and the drugs.. He loves Lian, he would die for her. She deserves so much and Roy is about ready to give her everything she could ever want. 

He never planned for kids, he knew if one happened one day he wouldn’t fight it, and Lian tested that. 

He doesn’t mind.

To him, Lian is the smartest and sweetest, so bright and excited. She is a lot for him to handle sometimes but has back up when it comes to family. 

Lian is the best thing that ever happened to him.

He knew he was being followed. Whoever was tailing him was pretty good. But not perfect. A few times, the person following him had gotten a little too close, just barely touching the edge of his extra sense’s range, before backing out. From the air, no less, so he had a pretty good idea of who it might be. He didn’t give up that he knew immediately, though. Instead, he wanted to see if he could catch the bat off guard.

He quickly began trying to disappear into a crowd, taking strange turns and going under overpasses to try and break her line of sight. Once he did that, it’d be his turn to do the following.

Rouge was no stranger to being followed, especially when a mysterious figure had taken such notice as she landed just into a crowd.

A playful smile plays along her lips, reaching into her pocket and producing a mirror, one just enough for her to see the figure and touch up her lipstick. Then the game began.

She ducks into the crowd, blending in rather well for a bat mobian. Rouge would have such fun playing cat and mouse.
