I put so much work into the city illustration so breakdown
combined some 3D models I found, tweaked pov and perspective. blocked out the silhouette and sections in a way I thought was more balanced. then added the lights which was the most time consuming thing before finishing up with a combination of cloud textures and final visual edits.
for the lights I found a set of brushes (stamps?) on clip studio's assets page. content ID: 2065378. there was so much editing, transforming, erasing and combining to get the perspective and density/distribution I wanted. it was a lot harder than you'd imagine. the brush set helped me so much, and even then this took me several hours and multiple sessions.
it could definitely be improved and has problems ofc but I'm honestly p proud of how it ended up considering I don't do backgrounds or environments much and had issues with time in the project overall
