Who is the person you drew with sora and strelitzia in your first post, if you dont mind me asking?

[I was going to be a little stink and say ‘it’s a mystery ¯\_(ツ)_/¯‘ but I decided to just be straight forward: that character is meant to be the representation of the player character from khux! in this case, my own avatar/character for khux.]

[I specifically decided to use my own player character instead of making a brand new one, along with the added bonus that I’ve already got a back story for her before I decided to make cross the line a full story in a series instead of just a one shot. makes my life a little easier, haha.]

[also, we needed more non evil silver haired characters. you know, for riku’s sanity.]

Ngl, I just click the first thing I see on youtube and let autoplay run when I’m writing. Everything I put on is literally just white noise bc when I focus, everything else is gone but my thoughts. Man, I wish I could do that for studying. As for actually listening to folk music for Yan Qing, it has never crossed through my mind so I might try that out. Thanks anon!

As for learning some cultural things from doing research, I’ve only been researching Yan Qing and the book that he’s come from directly, Outlaws of the Marsh. So far, it’s been... a long read. A very long read. I’ve barely scratched the surface. Hell, Yan Qing hasn’t even appeared yet (and he won’t be until half way through it all). These older historical books really love to drop names that I sure as hell won’t remember bc there’s so many of them. Well, there are 108 stars to follow plus side characters. It gets chaotic at times. Culture hasn’t really been something I’ve picked up, unfortunately. Well, none that I already didn’t know.
