Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa: Pffft Edgeworth. And then casually attempts to nonchalantly play it off as though there was a problem with the door’s hinges in order to save himself from embarrassment.
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them: Neither -- it’s actually Maya who does that, because she’s shipping trash and loves them together. Phoenix is slightly exasperated that she keeps drawing on his desk, but to this day he’s never actually had the heart to erase them.
Who starts the tickle fights: Phoenix, especially when the two of them are lying in bed and Edgeworth is reading over documents pertaining to work.
Who starts the pillow fights: Usually after Phoenix begins a tickle fight, Miles will retaliate when Wright least expects it by swatting him in the back of the head with a pillow. And it all spirals downhill from there.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile: Phoenix, simply because he’s relieved that after all these years, they’ve found one another again and he was able to keep Miles safe, just like he’d always aspired to do.
Who mistakes salt for sugar: Miles, and he especially regretted his decision not to wear his glasses when he took a sip of salty tea.
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning: Phoenix, but only because he’s grown accustomed to it and doesn’t think it’s nearly as loud as it actually is.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines: PHOENIX. “You’ve been waiting for years to use that one, haven’t you, Wright?” “ . . . Was it that obvious?” “Painfully so.”
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order: Miles for sure.
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies: Phoenix.
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion: Most likely Miles, because he’s extravagant and borderline pretentious while Phoenix has always been frugal -- and is working with a much smaller salary, anyway.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen: Phoenix! Though he never obtained a degree in the arts after all, some habits are too ingrained in him to break.
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation: Miles, but rather than buying them of his own volition, they’re gifts given to him when he gives guest lectures at law schools overseas.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines: Neither of them believe in the validity of those little surveys, but Phoenix would most likely fill one out if Maya or Pearls pestered him about it enough.
