nets roared over her as a tidal wave upon unwilling victims - - trapped and strangled against its weaving. pairs of luminescent eyes peered at her from dark grey waters that were only becoming deeper and deeper with each violent pull while others attempted to cut her free with sharpened shells and rocks only to be speared at by the creatures above. a dangerous attempt for an outcome that could never be had, and selaerys witnessed webbed fingers abandon their efforts to save themselves a meter before breaking surface. they looked upon her kind as demonic monsters of the depths of a watery hell, and yet they were the ones sharpening knives and spears to plunge into her. the men pulled her up onto the grease ridden, splintered deck riddled with rot from the waters and mold, and unkempt faces with wild eyes bore down at her hungrily - - far more vile than those eyes of seduction that her pod had gazed upon these men with just minutes prior to capture. a yell, then a splash, followed by muffled gargled beneath the water's surface and a cloud of deep maroon as the pirate met his end for lusting after her sister's lips. selaerys had maintained her space from the ship above up until the moment she called her forth to assist in delivering the final blow to the man who was as good as dead. water filling his lungs and deep gashes seeping scarlet, her elder attempted to train the youngest how to kill. for they had to kill to survive, and yet selaerys had difficulty with the act given how close she had to be to the humans.
roars of deep set voices and leers nearly deafened her - - making golden hues turn a dull brown from the liquor ridden air as she attempted clawing out of the tangled, blood stained netting with all that she had in her. scaled tail that reflected the color of what her eyes should be seemed to melt into legs, though they were rendered useless with how little she had ever walked in her life. they had won. the men pulled her up from the side of the boat and she came within mere inches of a younger human; pale and grey, though his eyes were as golden as the vast treasure they probably were in search of. still, worried grey gaze quickly looked for an escape before more men came to aid the feat. scorched hands grabbed at her wrists and pin her to the bloody boards for examination before two men bring her down to the brig to store her in a crystalline box which was sealed by a barrier above her head once they'd discarded her inside. restless winds rocked the creaking vessel, sending the stale water to mimic those same movements. an assembly of venomous voices barked a floor above her with dell thuds banging against the deck, sending her into a nervous frenzy in her half - filled tank veiled in the darkness of the unlit brig. vision could hardly be had, and the lack thereof strengthened other senses. the pulse of her heart beat was all she could feel though. it was ravaging her lithe neck and the entirety of her chest; body seized by trembling fears of meeting her end as her sister had.
