"I can't just let you doom this city with your schemes! Innocent people will be pulled into this - Fuck! We used to be civilians! Our parents used to be civilians, our friends, teachers, neighbors!" Her heated voice echoes through the metallic corridors of the Polar Tang, consolidating the difference between the two Trafalgars even further.

Her anger felt like ignited magnesium, blazing bright and searing. His fury on the other hand was glacious. Like the jagged edges of a broken layer of ice. Lamy glowered at her brother, refusing to budge. In the past, the government had ordered her to murder both people who had deserved it, and others who had not. Back then, she didn't have a voice to use. Disobedience meant a slow and agonizing death, and those who had decided to die as martyrs were made examples of.

But now, things had changed. And she would be damned if she stood by silently while unsuspecting lambs were brought to the slaughter, led by his hand.

"If you do this, you won't be any better than the ones who betrayed Flevance," she hisses, a paw latching onto her shoulder from behind. A touch meant to calm strained nerves, to prevent her from saying things she would end up regretting. "Lamy, please—" Bepo begs, but she shakes him off, approaching Law with quick strides.

She takes a hold of his sleeve, trying to appeal to the sliver of compassion she knows resides within his heart, the side of him shown only to those he deems closest. Lamy glared at him, thoughts flitting haphazardly behind her tense exterior. He was her Captain. She knew that her own defiance was undermining his power from the inside — A single wobbly stone could make a tower fall, or even an empire. But what he was asking of her was to turn a blind eye toward the devastation of countless lives. This exact greed and selfishness had led to the ruin of everything the siblings had held dear in the past. “If this is what it means to be a Heart Pirate, then I don’t want to be a part of this anymore!”

“What about you?” He asked as he examined the things he was pulling from his bag. “Was the sting of loneliness so bad, that you decided it would be worth spend it attending mass and obeying curfew if only to be around him?”

Minho’s chuckles echoed across he dimly lit room as he easily maneuvered Dakota’s sleepy attacks. It wasn’t his fault that the cook basically invited him over to his apartment a few days ago! 

Still sniggering, Minho crossed over to Dakota’s shut curtains in two easy strides and without warning, threw them open, allowing the angry sunshine to stream into the room. “It’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon, bub.” The smugness was all over the demigod’s face as he turned to face his friend.

“Why the fuck do you look like you barely slept anyway? It’s been 18 hours!” Minho on the other hand looked as fresh as a spring morning, as if a gentle breeze had ruffled his blond-white hair. Leaning against the wall, still safely away from the angry nacho’s wrath he surveyed him again. “Dude, you promised you’d teach me more shit about cooking. I’m not whining but I am.” He pouted a bit and with a snap of his fingers sent a real breeze in this time.

“Get your ass off the bed, you’re burning daylight!”

Curiosity // Wonshik & Phob

He couldn’t say for certain but he just knew the other didn’t deserve to be hurt and the idea of Phobetor being hurt made his heart clench. “I heard that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger but the jury is out on the validity of that statement.” He said with a smile, he didnt want the other to dwell on sad things, not tonight. He wanted it to be perfect, he wanted it to be a beautiful memory.

When he heard the other’s voice break the silence, he couldn’t help but smile. Only humming in agreement, he leaned in and placed an almost feather-like kiss to the most prominent scar before turing the other back around. Hands finding their way up Wonshik’s chest; stilling over his heart as he felt the beat drum softly under slick flesh. Phobetor’s hair had fallen into his eyes, hiding them away under thick, wet strands of jet-black locks. His more stocky but thinner frame being so close to the other’s more stark and muscular one made him seem so much more smaller than he was. Phobetor looked like a mortal to weary eyes despite a powerful god looming under the surface of lily-white skin.

After a moment of shared silence, he looked up from beneath his sopping locks and thin eyelashes to meet the other’s soothing eyes. He could’t stop looking at those beautiful eyes, his handsome face, just everything. Reaching over and turning off the water, he stood there briefly; wanting to touch the other even more. Phobetor wanted to explore this man fully, know every line and mark that told his story. He held back, not wanting to get too attached to this man. This was a one-night only thing, right?

“Let’s dry off, it’s getting a bit cold standing here drenched don’t you think? I’d like to get some clothes on too while I’m at it..”

Stepping out, he walked over and grabbed both of them towels to dry off with. The softness against his skin as well as the clean scent made him sigh out. No matter what it was, there was always something that made the god feel peaceful. Patting his body down, he proppd his leg up on the sink to dry his legs off. In the corner of his eye, he could see the other glance over at him which cause him to grin slightly.

“You admiring the view darling?..”
