moody’s flat

alastor isn’t at home very often. so he doesn’t put much effort into it. he has a modest flat that is largely filled with metal framework and bricks. there are an abundant amount of locked metal drawers, files, and cabinets of various sizes. trinkets and prizes from various landmarks in his career litters the free surfaces. there are also a couple foe glass mirrors on the walls with wards in every corner. the bed is out in the middle of the floor under his large wall of windows. in the other corner is a punching bag and work out area to make sure that he doesn’t lose his touch when he’s not out on a mission.

“Excuse me? Mister?” Caster approached the blond boy without any fear or reservation, a bright smile on her face as if he were already a close friend of hers. She wasn’t trying to be informal, it’s just that she was used to greeting people in this way more than any other.

“I was wondering, how did you manage to get your Servant to turn into a watch? It doesn’t seem like they’re in pain or unaware, and I can’t say I’ve seen something like that before.”

“Do you... Do you realize what those marks mean? The ones on the back of your hand.” She didn’t want to kill someone with her own hands if she could help it, but if this boy was going to be a threat to her in the near future, she was sure she could find a way to do it without ending up in jail afterwards.

“If you don’t... No, even if you do, you’re in great danger... Those aren’t a good thing to have. Your life is in danger.” Even though she was ready to kill the boy as soon as he lowered his guard, Mzia seemed to be completely genuine in her concern for his well-being despite him being a complete stranger.

“Flat, would you happen to know where one of my wands went? I left it out to rest, but now I cannot find it... It was made out of hickory wood, if you even know what that looks like.” She wasn’t even trying to hide the fact that she suspected him. If anything, it was a miracle that she was giving him a chance to say his side before yelling at him until he went deaf.
