There was nervous laughter as she dropped back down to the ground. (Curse her short height-- she was almost dangling from his shoulders.)
"It's...revenge for you disappearing!"
“STOP! THIEF!”
And there she goes-- stumbling and falling on a banana peel.
“I know we’re strangers, and you don’t know me, nor I you, but please just sit still and let me get this over with!”
Cue the hug and a kiss on the cheek.
“Did you know that it takes forty-two minutes for a person to die of blood loss?”
It had been so long. Would he pick up the phone?
"Shuichi? I have exams, and I don't want to study help me. I have cake. Eat it with me."
She sat in the library alone at a table with earphones plugged in, her phone playing a song on repeat. Her head was against the wood of the table, and her eyes stared blankly at her closed laptop.
"Yeah. One big mistake."
"I don't want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need. I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree. I just want you for my own, more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true.. Baby all I want for Christmas is
you!"
She spun around, pointing...at someone. Oops, no that wasn't supposed to happen.
