There's a blush across Alice's cheeks even as she giggles when Saverio pulls her into a bear hug that lifts her clean off the ground and threatens to bruise her ribs. She's been in Japan for the past two weeks and missed him dearly, so she gladly hugs him back until they're both satisfied.

It's funny how many little trinkets and skincare products she brought for him when the man literally has more money than he could spend in several lifetimes. But there is one gift she knows could only have made its way to Saverio through her, and she's both proud and slightly embarrassed as she presents it to him.

"It you." She declares simply, voice airy with laughter.

During the entirety of the past two weeks apart, Saverio constantly pestered Alice. Through chat or through call, he'd ask for updates. What she ate, what she was doing, where she was going... He simply couldn't bear to be apart for so long without asking about EVERYTHING.

So imagine his surprise when Alice finally arrives back in Italy. He immediately sent for a driver to pick her up and take her to his manor. After all, he NEEDED to see her as soon as possible! And give her a spine-snapping embrace, of course!

When he finally let Alice back down, he watched with bated breath as she pulled out a box. He knew she always would come home with a gift, but it's impressive how she manages to keep it a secret every time. When she revealed the figurine, Saverio let out an almost BOYISH gasp, eagerly grabbing the item and holding it up as if it were a precious jewel.

"Oh... my GOD!" Saverio rotated the figurine in his hands, taking in every little detail painted on the little pudding pup. "I LOVE him. I'm putting him on my desk NOW."

"Eh, posionin' seems like a pretty easy way t'go, not gonna lie. I mean sure, s'gonna suck while yer sufferin' from it, but if it's a fast actin' one, maybe it'll be over sooner."

Definitely not the worst way to go. She's seen the aftermath of people who were caught by demons, either torn to pieces or in the process of being eaten alive...Hell, she's torn her way out of a demon's stomach once and that had been such an awful affair that she never bought it up.

"This is a pretty morbid conversation, huh? Didn't think a pretty face like yers had interest in stuff like tha'."

"Eh, statistically speakin' ya are more likely t'be murdered by someone y'know. Still, if yer worried 'bout yer friends murderin' you, I think ya got other problems..."

The world of the Yakuza could be rife with betrayals, and she considers herself fairly lucky she hasn't had to deal with it...Then again, she's more or less got few friends, and those she did call friends were people she trusted with her life. People who've seen her at her absolute worst and still decided to be there for her.

"But ya don't look like ya'd hurt a fly. Unless people are petty as fuck in whatever line of work yer in."

Connor's smoke break is interrupted as he looks over at the woman who seems to be trying to get his attention. The night air is cooling, and he can hear the dull sound of the music from inside of the bar.

"I'd offer for ya t'come in, but this is th'back area of th'bar. Employees only."

How stressed the losing gambler was last night... And how CHILLY it is right now. Not enough for Salvatore to want to head back inside. Just enough for him to notice it.

The one word catches his attention. Salvatore turns, and seeing Alice carefully undoing her scarf, the man stops where he is. He lowers his head the slightest to make it easier for her to place the scarf around his neck. When he straightens back up, he idly twirls one end of the scarf around his hand, bringing it close to his cheek.

"Oh. Thank you, dear," Salvatore says, practically BURYING his face in the warm fabric. Of course he picks up on the smell of her perfume still lingering on it and he breathes it in. "... But, won't you be cold? That won't do. Let us head inside now."

Following a meeting with some TROUBLESOME associates, Iwo and Alice retired to their hotel room for the night. Both tired and frustrated, Iwo grumbled softly to himself as he carelessly removed and tossed aside his coat, just BARELY managing to land it on the very edge of the couch. He unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt, tugging on it slightly to loosen up.

... All the while, he felt eyes on him. Of course he knew why. Slowly, he turned to face his companion. Even if he already could sense how INTENSELY she was staring.

"You should know staring is considered RUDE." He placed a finger beneath her chin, gently nudging to tilt her head back up, forcing Alice to meet his gaze. "I know you are insatiable, but we are in only the living room. BEHAVE."

With recent happenings, Satoru has been more and more overwhelmed with stress. And while he typically did well to hide the fact, those who know him well could still see the signs.

So, at around 2:00AM, he got out from bed (frankly, he was still on his phone anyway) and snuck into the kitchen. He quickly gathered all sorts of ingredients and worked his magic. He was practically a natural at making the dough. But being so mentally and physically drained, he ended up making... perhaps a little too much. Soon enough, he found himself with about 80 MINI BREAD ROLLS taking up the entirety of the counter.

When he heard footsteps approaching, he paused his cleaning of cookware to listen and identify who it was. Realizing it was Alice, he turned around, putting on his signature playful smile. "Here for a midnight snack, too?"
