what is your pokemon dream team?

⊰ ◝ i haven’t played a pokemon game in a long time. ( *he admits it with a laugh. he still has memories of the games though, from his childhood and teenage years, and how his mother would scold him and tell him to focus on studying instead. he used to sneak his nintendo ds to hockey practice, and over to the houses of his friends, and play there, where she couldn’t see. he looks up, trying to recall his favorites from back then, thoughtful ) i guess i’d pick snorlax, houndoom, steelix, blaziken, oshawott and frolass, if i remember right.

what is your pokemon dream team?

“an evenly balanced team of types, with eevee as my partner, of course! i tend to love pokemon that are pretty as well as strong, so that’s why i went for these! and it’s always good to have each of the four ‘main’ typings in your team,” she babbles, indicating the water, grass, fire, and electric typings. “they round each other out, and electric has very few weaknesses and some solid special attacks. gardevoir is a gorgeous pokemon, and with its mega evolution can do well even against dragon type pokemon! i guess this team would end up being more special attack based, so against pokemon with high special defense they probably wouldn’t do as well, but most of the ones with the highest special defense are legendaries, so it should be alright.”

Have you ever considered switching companies for any reason? If a company chose to buy out your contract, would you do it? Why or why not?

He seems to freeze for a moment, his mouth dropped open slightly as he blinks, wondering how to respond. 

This is what he’s been waiting for, this opportunity to vent everything, all of his frustrations, all his regrets, all the secret animosity that’s always lurking inside him. He thinks of all the other trainees at Royal, though, and how innocent—in a fairly loose usage of the word, most likely—and kind they are. He thinks of how heartbroken they would be to hear him say these things, and he knows he can’t say it aloud.

Instead he shrugs, giving a generic answer instead of the honest one. “I don’t know. It depends on the company and the situation, I guess.”

[ i found this in my drafts when looking for something else very old – based on the way he’s feeling in this, i would guess that this is from late 2014, probably either right before or during the production of dream high. i found it very interesting, considering he’s now in another company, and his views back then were that he would have switched companies immediately if given the chance. obviously, when he finally was given the chance, it took him p much the whole week they gave him to decide whether or not to do it, so i just want to reblog this for character development purposes! ]

name at least 3 people you know you can count on and why

well, my mom and dad for starters. they always mean well, even if they don’t really understand me or what i need a lot of the time. i know that if i tell them what i need, they’ll do whatever they can to get it for me, and they just want the best for me. 

ten ( @tenrk ) and jieqiong ( @rkjieqiong ) too, probably. they’re both idiots most of the time, but i can always count on them to cheer me up if i’m feeling down, even if i don’t tell them how i’m feeling. i don’t know if they ever pick up on it when i’m feeling bad -- i’m pretty good at hiding my feelings, you know, but....no matter what, those two are always able to make me smile. and i pretend to hate it, i act like i think they’re both cheesy, gross idiots -- and i do think that, actually, but i also love it. i’ve never met anyone else besides those two who can make me smile more easily. even when i’m trying to keep a straight face, i just can’t do it with them.

then probably my cousin, sooyoung ( @rkxsooyoung ). she’s a few years older than me, and she’s always been kind of like an older sister to me. i grew up an only child, so....when she moved to seoul permanently, i was 10 and she was 14, and it was like having an older sister to follow around. i was so used to being the only kid in the family that it was just pretty cool to have her, and she’s always given me advice when i needed it, or just been there to hang out or whatever i want to do. i’m super proud of her, too, for winning the mgas and making it into kt. she’s doing really well, and i hope i’ll be able to be half the person she is in the future.

fuck marry kill: sungwoon, ricky, jihoon

⊰ ◝   ( * he instantly gapes, in some kind of shock ) those are all guys though? ( * he stays silent, as if waiting long enough will make the question go away ) do i have to answer ( * yes, you have to answer, so man up ) i’ll uh…start off by saying i don’t like boys like that. ( * he doesn’t, right? right? ) but i guess…i’ll kill jihoon. i can’t imagine marrying him, or, you know– or i guess i could marry him. we’re friends, so i feel bad killing him, but– that’s probably best. ( * then come the two hardest answers. he falls silent again, deep in thought ) i guess i’d, uh, sleep with…ricky…? because he’s a trainee, and i hardly see him as is, so i could like, never see him again afterwards. ( * then his last answer defaults to sungwoon ) marry sungwoon, because sleeping with him would probably make things awkward for the band. we’re good friends and i wouldn’t want to ruin that. ( * and marriage wouldn’t? somehow, this is daniel’s logic anyway. marriage just seems better ) and because i like him, so i know i’d tolerate being married to him, i guess– if i had to choose.

⊰ ◝ ( *the distress is clear on his face. hadn’t he already done enough with one question like this? why this again? still, he must answer, so he forces himself to think about it seriously ) i hate this. ( *he makes it very clear, a necessity before he starts. this one is harder than the one before it, somehow. he can’t kill haknyeon, his best friend outside of empty enigma-- and he can’t kill sungwoon. that just leaves ricky, and daniel’s growing sense of guilt. then again, he and ricky aren’t exactly close. they’re something alright, but maybe if daniel kills him he won’t have to think about what exactly that is ) kill ricky. ( *he decides, with an apologetic frown. that just leaves the final two options, and this doesn’t get any easier. he groans and stomps his foot, throwing a miniature tantrum ) marry haknyeon -- ( *because he can’t put haknyeon in the other position ) so i guess that leaves sungwoon for-- the last one. ( *he covers his face with a hand. he still likes girls, not boys, thank you very much )

16. what part of your body are you most uncomfortable with? 

“my feet,” he answers a bit too easily for someone with his confidence, like he’s thought about it before. “feet are always kinda ugly, but mine are really bony and weirdly shaped. i don’t actually like to take my socks off to have sex. it’s a weird little thing, but you know,” he shrugs. “everyone has their insecurities.”

17. who are you most comfortable around? 

“is it weird if i say seoah?” he laughs a bit at himself, rubbing the back of his neck. “i mean, i’m close with a few people in phoenix, but i’ve known seoah longer. sure, she thought i was dead for a while after i went kinda crazy and acted like i killed myself, and i didn’t know she had gotten involved in all this business, so we haven’t properly known each other for a few years, but she’s probably the one who knows me best. i don’t know if i’ve changed much since i last knew her, but i imagine i have. she probably has too, but it’s hard not to trust her after everything.”
