@jaxxmulti asked: AN EXCHANGE PROGRAM SOUNDED INTERESTING, but he was not going to another school, no amount of trying to convince him would entice him to consider; he was impartial to his own school, after all of the hard work it took him to get there. besides, he would have missed the show that was a bunch of non - night raven college students attempting to fit in. which was going horribly. as first years, they were not expected to have much to do with it – but jack would help out nonetheless. no one else from savanaclaw had seemed keen on doing so, which left him as their ambassador of sorts; they were all too happy to push that title off onto him, so they wouldn’t have to do so themselves. gaze falling to the student he was by some means pushed off onto, he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. “ a tour of the school, hm. there isn’t much to see … but … “ if he was supposed to do it, then he would. showing where her classes would be, & main locations. it was simple enough. thankfully, he knew the layout better than most freshmen.
Being picked for an exchange program was a lot more hassle than it was an honor, but considering it was her position as the student at the very top of her year that warranted that opportunity, she couldn’t very well say no. Her goal would remain unchanged regardless of which academy she was attending, so she didn’t feel neither as nervous nor as excited to go to an all boys’ school as some of the other girls were. But she did enjoy listening to them chitter chatter away about it on the trip there.
From the brochure she’d read regarding Night Raven, she’d felt like she might get along better with Diasomnia or Pomefiore students considering her own aptitudes and interests. In order to truly get to know the entire school, all the girls would be rotating through each dorm regardless, so it didn’t really matter that she was first instructed to go to Savanaclaw.
Judging by the fact that a single student who didn’t look all that enthused to be there came to meet her by the entrance of the dorms, she understood that they agreed with her on how troublesome this whole arrangement was, but alas, there was nothing they could do about it at this point.
As he stopped in front of her, Alice had to tilt her head further up in order to adjust to the height difference between them, and it was a real struggle to keep her eyes from drifting further up to his very fluffy looking hair and ears(!).
“I’m sorry for all the trouble.” She offered him a smile caught between thankful and apologetic, along with a curtsey. “My name is Alice. This is the schedule I was given, if it helps dictate the places you show me.”
