Triple Trouble

Drone threw himself between the blast and his brothers, Smash clinging to his arm and Lightning yelling as the ringing finally settled. Drone cracked one eye open carefully and looked around.

The first thing he noticed was he sisters were gone. The next thing... where were they?

Smash was the next thing he noticed. His brother gasping and looking around with wide eyes. “Woah! What the heck happened? Where’s Sky and Night?!”

“Better question is where are we!” Lightning pipped up, pushing Drone’s arm down and stepping past him. “What was that thing Night gave Sky? And where did those robots go?”

“I bet they exploded!” Smash bounced giddily, smacking his hands together. “That light was cool!”

How are they creating the lightning, do you know? Is it possible that the lightning is doing some odd EM thing that some of the (flying?) cryptids in the woods might be sensitive to? Where and what was the lightning arcing off to hit?

Electrical storms mess with certain cryptids and anomalies with a range varying from mundane annoyance to highly disabling their basic functions. I have no doubt this lightning could be doing the same. 

The lightning was bolting off in different directions. Whatever they’re actually hitting I can’t tell, but it’s not targeting any specific area.

Mairwen loves storms, and can often be found outside during them. This has led to her being struck by lightning more than once. In any of her verses with magic, it doesn’t harm her too much when that happens, though her litchenberg scars will look fresher. But witnessing it can be... Strange, as the lightning will often times stick around and spark off of her for a little bit, lighting her up. 

[In her non-magic verses, she ‘died’ when she was struck the first time and makes sure to have a grounding rod installed near all her homes to hopefully avoid getting struck again.] [In her Fallout Verse specifically, she had the Doctors at Big MT install some stuff to help cancel out the effects of if she gets struck again.]

Sparky boy over here is chill af but don’t be fooled, he cares a lot about all of his siblings and their friends and would throw himself into danger for any innocent without thinking.
