☯: what my muse says to yours after they haven’t spoken for five hours since a fight
Areum had her arms crossed over her chest as she stared at the television. She wasn’t exactly watching anything, in fact, the tv was off. Yet, she stood there, the silence overwhelming her as recalled every single word he had said and every single word she had said during their fight five hours before. Bryan was probably in his room or in the bathroom but even though they had fought, Areum didn’t leave his apartment. She didn’t want to simply leave because that would mean leaving their fight wide open for more harsh words and she didn’t want that. She wanted to fix it, to tell him she was sorry for what she had said. After all, it had been her fault that the fight had started in the first place. Her normally cool and collected attitude had went down the drain due to stress and pressure at work and she ended up getting jealous at something so pathetic it actually made her laugh now that she thought about it. She had showed that she didn’t trust him as much as she said she did even though that wasn’t exactly true. She did trust him, she had always trusted him, but that day she had been tired and too stressed and the feelings seemed to overwhelm her, leading her to be a complete bitch to him when he obviously hadn’t deserved it.
With a small sigh as she realized how stupid she was, Areum slowly stood up from the couch, making her way to the bedroom and seeing him laying down, phone in his hands and frown on his forehead. He didn’t seem to be doing anything, his fingers didn’t even touch the screen, it was almost like he was just thinking, like she had been not long ago. When she appeared by the door, his eyes shot up to look at her and she couldn’t help but look guiltily at him. Why had she been a bitch to such a perfect boyfriend?
They didn’t really say anything for a moment but soon she was sitting on the bed and crawling to him, settling in front of him and looking at him apologetically. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean what I said, I swear. I do trust you. I was just stressed and pressured and I ended up letting it all out on you. I’m sorry Bryan, I really didn’t mean to,” She apologized sincerely, hand settling on top of his carefully, as if afraid to touch him in case he would push her away.
