01.  What would be their twitter name? What sorts of tweets would they tweet?

I mean social media isn’t something she understands, so I could see either her putting in just  her name plainly, or see Ichigo making it for her or something(maybe @shortbunnyfreak or something if he’s feeling especially annoyed : p)  and she wouldn’t be able to figure out that she could change the handle.

She’d probably tweet many bunny things once she got her sources to follow. I think she would be the sort to respond to things more so than make her own tweets. She’d question weird things, or reply on things beyond her, in short but demanding and to the point ways, i.e. “Take me next time”, “Explain” etc. Her own tweets would probably be mocks or reports of her friends, jibbing them here or there or just questions, never so much reporting on exactly what she is doing especially if she’s by herself, but maybe a picture here and there(the first few are probably terribly framed).

02.  What’s their favourite genre of movies? Of music?

Most movies are good in Rukia’s book, as long as it’s engaging with the audience and moving at a good pace enough(which isn’t too hard to do). At the very least she could take notes on films for later usual activities of humans and what not(research!). She enjoys being a critique of character actions. I can picture her getting invested and shouting at televisions. Picking a favorite though, maybe action, if just cause they tend to be quick paced and pretty dramatic. Comedies have too much of a chance of going over her head.

Music wise, she’s similar, and likes quick paced and “infectious” stuff, not that she couldn’t appreciate more quiet music or “elegant” sorts either though. I think pop is probably fit into it best honestly, but I could also see her getting into rock’s rebellion concept if just to experience bits of the hype and partake in the group mongering, (think reliving Don Kanonji’s show but a rock concert instead). 

03.  What’s on their top queue on Netflix?

Every animal animated movie ever. With a sprinkle of anything dramatic enough to grab her attention that she’s snagged from Yuzu or Inoue. 

04.  What’s their favourite scent? Do they smell like that?

I think she likes fruitier scents or natural sorts?(think pine, or ocean). Rukia’s more on the floral spectrum herself, so sort of? 

05.  Apple or Android?

 “Well wouldn’t a robot destroy an apple pretty easily?”

06.  Favourite Season? Least favourite season?

She’s not too picky on seasons much, least is summer, favorite is winter, but fall is close behind.

07. Are they a bottom or top or versatile? 

Top, but she’s down to fight about it and see what happens. At the very least, open to switching it up. 

08.  Describe their morning routine. Do they wake up early or sleep in? Do they press the snooze button a bunch of times or do they immediately get up?

Rukia is quick to get up, never needing to use an alarm usually, other than the sun breaking into the window. She tends to get up early, never spending too much time at the Kuchiki manor aside from dressing in her uniform and getting food. 

09.  If they were to be compared to a canon character, who would that be? (Spirit animal )

That’s difficult, I’ve never considered it, asdf- Maybe... snow white from wolf among us, or Saber from Fate/zero/Stay night or whatever the whole series is called nowadays? They at least both have the whole cold seeming but also kind of softies for their loved ones loyalty, but also consider their duty, and Saber at least from what I remember has a bit of misunderstanding of human world or having some terms fly right over her head, also an adoration for some cuddly things(a lion I think at one point). 

But Rukia as a spirit(lmao) is pretty hard to pin down to another character, cause she has a lot going on, it’s maybe why I like her so much! Or I’m just a dumby or considers her too unique

I read Midnight Sun as a buddy read with a friend who had never read or seen Twilight (which was hilarious and eyeopening) and was the culimation of a JOURNEY that I went on. I was part of the hardcore Twilight generation. I was at that perfect age where statistically speaking, teenage girls stop reading when Stephenie Meyer handed me this dumb vampire romance and it completely reignited my love of reading. I read a book a week today because books like The Hunger Games and Twilight kept me reading.

Then I was inevitably part of that cohort who eventually came to believe that Twilight was literally the worst thing in the world, an affront to basic human dignity and a plague on this earth. I spent years really resenting the 13 year old me who had loved these books and trying to make up for it in blind hatred of the series.

And THEN as I got older, I realised that Twilight was not bad and not good, it’s literally just okay. It’s just a dumb vampire romance novel with some cringey parts and it should be enjoyed like that. And I also realised that I had been tricked into believing that Twilight was the worst thing ever because that’s what happens to all things that teenage girls like. Society turns anything teenage girls like into ‘cringe’ to make teenage girls feel like their passions are not worthy or silly whilst still taking their money. (Lindsay Ellis did a really good video on this subject)

So yeah, reading Midnight Sun and enjoying it felt like I was finally forgiving that 13 year old version of me who just wanted to read her dumb vampire romances and I read it partially for her because her little heart BROKE the day Stephenie Meyer shelved Midnight Sun.

ALSO it’s really funny, Edward Cullen is unironically really funny. It’s also kinda really well written. Stephenie Meyer writes Edward being in love so well, it’s very engrossing. Engrossing enough to read 700 pages of it. I would unironically buy and read the others.

2. what sort of things does your muse look for in a partner?

An ability to read her, as much as the idea has her on the defensive, its something she needs. The vast majority of what she says is in what she doesn’t vocalise, and in body language, and without a good knowledge of the kind of person she is, other muses can fall very easily into believing her on something that’s completely false and vice versa. 

She’s definitely not the easiest person to DATE date so, its not the best idea to attempt to pursue her without being completely serious about it or she WILL know and there will be consequences. 

She is also 

a morning person, so get used to her being awake before dawn and asleep a few hours after sunset. She’s capable of staying up longer but unless she has something to do, this girl is out.

a stoic person. If you’re expecting a cute wittle softie you’ll be severely disappointed. She rarely emotes, and when she does, it doesn’t tend to be overt. 

capable of a very intense stare. It’s her resting-bitch-face-syndrome but also something she employs to achieve an end. 

affectionate, but you’ll be hard pressed to find it. 

These are all things her partner would have to deal with. 

3. what sort of things does your muse AVOID in a partner?

Immaturity. She’s an adult, the person she’s with is an adult, she doesn’t want to have to watch you every second to make sure you’re alright and/or can be trusted to do what she asks. The more she’s unsure of it the less she wants to date you.

She also isn’t fond of her partner shutting off from her in their times of need, so she definitely wants to avoid that. She is a criminal, and undoubtedly evil in main verse, but she’s also capable of feeling concern. She wants to be there at their weakest, and if they don’t let her, she starts getting frustrated. From there it’s not that difficult to annoy her enough she’ll break the relationship off. 

7. would your muse ever get married?

In main? never. She might’ve entertained thoughts of it as a child to another with their baby face and short height, a sort of escape from the filth that was her childhood but those days are well and truly over. It’s not possible, and it’s not something she wants. 

Other verses, hmm maybe. 

9. who are some characters you ship your muse with?

In main verse its pretty impossible to see her getting with anyone in a loving, happy relationship considering the circumstances, but if I had to say characters I would think of Chrollo, Pakunoda and Hisoka. 

It goes without saying why a relationship between her and Hisoka won’t work out in canon, and Pakunoda is unfortunately passed and Chrollo is hmm, politely not-interested.
