Truth be told, Vivian hadn’t really meant to follow him; in fact, she was merely biding her time and waiting for a particularly perilous monster to pop out before valiantly rescuing him so Lucio would finally notice her, but as luck would have it, she ended up tripping and tumbling down a cliff. Thankfully, though, the fall wasn’t that steep, meaning she came out, relatively UNSCATHED; still, her disguise sadly didn’t remain intact and she was left, caked in clumps of dirt and mud as his attention finally landed on her.
“ I-It’s quite a nice day for a long, relaxing stroll, don’t you think? ” Vivian soon goes on to awkwardly add while absentmindedly dusting down her pants with her hands. The whole entire time, though, she started inwardly panicking and hoping to the dear Astrals he hadn’t yet realized how suspicious her sudden appearance was.
