Shaking breaths finally evened out after what felt like forever, but the stabbing pain throughout his whole body continued. He honestly didn’t remember what had happened, all he remembered was that one second he was walking with Kyler and the next he was on the ground. He tried to get up, but a wave of dizziness hit him so hard that nearly fell on to his back. Taking a deep breath, he listened to his friend when he spoke, leaning in to press his ear against Kyler’s chest and listen to the heartbeat that was much steadier than his own.
