The early shift at her hospital, the doctor-in-training already knew this would be a long day. A cup of warm brewed coffee would definitely help her during the first hours. Although upon arrival at the local Starbucks, which it was one of the closest coffeehouses nearby, she was met with closed building under apparent construction, at least what was left of it due fire damage.

“Sweet, pass it here,” upon having said liquid passed over, Shanice put the bottle in her mouth and chugged it, putting it down after getting a good amount in her mouth. “It’s not actually that bad, but I think this is actually cough medicine and perhaps, this is not a normal drink at all.” She shouldn’t have drank it like that, actually.

“Good to hear that the taste is bearable. You should take two spoonful each day, and over a week or so, you-” When the doctor-in-training put her fullest attention towards Shanice, her eyes noticed the bottle she just gave to her, it was already half empty, which her silence lasted for a full second.

“Please don’t tell me you just chugged half of it...”

Her shift finally came to an end, she had a busy one and now longed for some rest. With some hot coffee in hand, Nell was making her way home. While doing so, she was having a chat with her best friend by mobile.

“-yeah, let’s try to have a get together this weekend! Oh, there is a movie that I’m dying to watch and- Hmm?” The doctor-in-training then interrupted herself when she heard something at the alleyway closest to her. “Amy. I have to hang up for now, I will calling you back, alright?” 

That sound definitely didn’t belong from a stray cat or dog would be making, and with curiosity's sake, she carefully went into the alleyway. Her eyes slowly shifted from left to right, trying to determinate where it came from.
