WITCH JOURNAL // DAY XII

Day Twelve: Have any advice for new witches or people interested in the craft? Anything you wish you knew before starting your journey?

uhm,,,,, well seeing as i AM a new witch, haaaaaa, i’m still looking for advice? personally, i wish there was like a personality test or something. like the meyer-briggs of witchcraft. there is just SO MUCH i get lost. i will start looking into cool or creative spreads for tarot cards, then find a link to pop-culture based/inspired spells, then somehow it’s been three hours and i’m lost in a maze of astral projection or olde magick spells that call for ingredients i can’t even find on google! it is really hard to narrow anything down. in that aspect, i wish i had someone to sorta guide me towards something i can concentrate on. i know every experienced/seasoned witch will tell you to follow your gut and study whatever you want-- then again, some have a stringent 38347293 step process as if there is a regulated curriculum.  i want wiggle room but i’d appreciate someone or something that would help me whittle down my options to a few paths to focus on, rather than a deluge of information that leaves me drowning and overwhelmed.
