“ Don’t get me wrong, Fefe. Though I believe people who are gross and bigoted should definitely be told to step on a lego or to push a tractor beam UP their ass, the reasons some have for attacking others are just… ridiculously asinine, I struggle to fathom it. For example, I noticed how on social media, there would be LGBT folks and POC who hate on Caucasians, straights, and the cisgendered, solely because they are part of the majority.
“ What’s sad is that these NPCs don’t realize that by supporting the ‘down with cishets’ and ‘down with straights’ ideology, they are perpetuating a hateful agenda while simultaneously being no BETTER than their so called oppressors who discriminate against them. It’s like they’re taking two steps forward and one step back at the same time… which is partly why nobody is taking us seriously. By enforcing a double standard and saying it’s okay to treat White, cis, or straight people poorly for what their ancestors did, it divides us further and makes us look bad as a community that is supposed to be accepting.
“ Then again, what do I, a privileged Asian girl, know? Why, it doesn’t matter that I’m not even straight, goodness no! As long as I don’t adhere completely to their social justice, then I’m a ‘coon’ according to their eyes and don’t deserve a place in the LGBT group. It’s absolutely ridiculous, I tell you! ”
