hi, the issue that people are pointing out is that specifying that she's a trans woman only adds to transmisogyny when at the end of the day she did it because she's a shit human, not because she's a trans woman, and you can point out that she's a trans woman without saying that most trans women do it, when it's just that she's a person - regardless of her gender she would do it because shit people will do shit things regardless of who they are, and her being a trans woman doesn't make anyone more susceptible to being a shit person. just like it doesn't do that for cis women.

Apparently JKR’s tweets were in response to domestic violence and sexual abuse that she suffered. She wants “single-sex” spaces to protect women.

As if trans women aren’t one of the groups with the highest risk for domestic violence.

As if trans women aren’t in the group with the highest risk for sexual assault.

As if trans women aren’t brutalized and marginalized for doing anything, even going to the bathroom.

As if trans people aren’t at an obscene risk for suicide.

JKR is trash; all this is, is she’s leaking her awful trash opinions for everyone to see.
