@vaciiviity calls aoi on his bullshit.

"Here, take my jacket." without a second thought, Light shakes off his jacket and, with expert easiness as if he's done it before, drops it on Aoi's shoulders, fingers brushing against the boy's bare arms lightly. Go figure he's still only wearing a tank top and nothing else. And then he goes and whines about being cold. "You should dress up more appropriately lest you're planning to catch a cold. I'm more than sure that you've said it with your own mouth that you hate the cold."

Checking the weather has never been part of his agenda. Especially after spending years and years locked up in libraries and research facilities and at home, spending 9 straight years preparing. There was never reason to dress for the weather because, simply put, he was never there to experience it unless Akane dragged him out on a particularly nice day.

He still hasn’t gotten in the habit despite actually going outside more and more frequently now. Aoi takes his aesthetic very seriously, and he isn’t about to change that up because of some lousy weather.

That was his thought, anyway, before actually heading out to meet up with Light and walk around one of the shopping distracts. He’d been hoping his companion wouldn’t notice the tremors running through him as he shivered, but Light is far too perceptive for something like that. A pout plays at his lips, the lower jutting out as he’s chastised lightly. That, and a light pink dusting over his cheeks as Light’s fingers brush his arms. 

“Thanks.” He replies begrudgingly. Regardless, he burrows into the warmth of his companion’s jacket. “I didn’t think it would be cold today.” Aoi tacks on, as if that will actually help his case. 

But Light is right - Aoi much prefers the heat. Long hours in Nevada summers will do that to you. He likes to dress sparingly, it’s just comfortable. “Maybe we can find a jacket while we’re out.” There’s gotta be something out there to match his look, right? Sure, Light might not be able to judge how it looks on him, but he hasn’t had anyone to clothes shop with him in ages.

“I promise I’ll stay on my side of the bed.” Shuichi already feels bad for the screw up, he doesn't want to possibly make Kaede uncomfortable by accident "We could use the extra pillows and put them between us if you wish."

Kaede giggles into her hand - it’s perhaps a little cruel, considering it is at Shuichi’s expense, but she can’t help it, not when he looks so worried over it all. She should reassure him - she will, but first, she has to stop being entertained by how ridiculous he’s being. 

“Saihara-kun,” She stops him, before he can spiral any further. “It’s fine! Really, you don’t have to be so worried.” An easy smile graces her lips. There are certainly some boys in their class she would be less than thrilled to share a bed with. With Shuichi, though, it feels more like a sleepover than anything! They’re already friends, and she doesn’t think he’d ever try anything that would make her uncomfortable. 

“We don’t need some barrier. It’s just... a sleepover!” Kaede grins wider still, hoping the sentiment reaches her friend, quells a bit of his anxiety. Without further ado, she sets about getting settled under the covers since they do have to be up fairly early all things considered. 

Cheerily, she pats the other side, hoping Shuichi will stop worrying so much, and get in bed.

@willofcausality is looking out for his husband. 

Kazuichi had a fairly regular sleeping pattern, he certainly got more sleep than Gundham did, but sometimes Gundham thought he got a little too absorbed in work. 'You’re exhausted, foolish mortal,' Gundham said softly, gently taking the wrench out of Kazuichi's hand.

For his entire life, Kazuichi has never been a night owl, no matter how much he tried. The only time he can keep his eyes open past 10:30pm is when he’s working on something, so deeply involved in his work that it feels like time has stalled. 

Tonight is apparently one of those times. 

It’s dark out, that much he can tell from the window, though he has no recollection at what point it got dark. He’d noticed his coordination declining, but he’s so close to finishing this part - just a little more work, just another five minutes he told himself over and over. 

Now that his husband’s voice has taken him out of the trance, had removed the wrench from his hand - oh. Yes, he is exhausted. 

It hits him like a train, and for a moment he considers sleeping then and there on the floor of the garage. But that won’t do, and he knows it. With a huge yawn, he gathers himself up, takes the wrench back to put it with the engine he was working on - he’ll come back to it in the morning. “Mmh, yeah. Bedtime.” Words aren’t his strong suit at night, but luckily Gundham knows that well by now. 

Getting ready for bed is a blur, washing his face to get the grease off, changing into soft, flannel pajama pants and a tanktop, letting is hair down from the ponytail it’s been corralled into. Once he’s ready. Kazuichi snuggles into the covers and presses into Gundham’s side while his husband has a book open in his lap. 

Wordlessly, he reaches up, patting around until he finds Gundham’s hand before placing it in his hair - it should get the sentiment across. Before long, he’s drifting off, warm and comfortable as fingers card through his hair.

@vaciiviity wants to make a pillow fort!

“Okay, hear me out… I say we build a pillow fort.” Mao announces, already kicking her pillow on the ground before moving to push the blanket as well "Have you ever done it before, Ibuki-chan?" it used to be an almost nightly occurrence back at the orphanage before they ran away. She kind of misses it.

“A pillow fort?” Ibuki questions, eyes sparkling. She certainly has plenty of pillows and blankets around the apartment to make an awesome one. Her girlfriend is a genius. 

“Ibuki hasn’t made one in years,” Her voice is almost reverent, still reeling from the wonderful idea. When she’d still been with the pop group, they’d made a few when they had sleepover bonding nights, unleashing all kinds of chaos for their manager to find in the morning. Like her other memories with the girls, it fell somewhere between warm and painfully lonely. Not that she’d left on a bad note with any of them per se, but she certainly didn’t feel like she belonged anymore. Not like before. 

But now isn’t a time for sad thoughts! And why be sad when her girlfriend is already hard at work starting one? 

They’re going to make the most amazing pillow fort ever, and then they’re going to snuggle in it! Maybe even kiss! The giddiness is soon overtaking the lapse into sad nostalgia, instead darting to another room to gather some more pillows and blankets to add to their pile. 

She manages to find her fluffiest and softest blankets to pad the ground, and a few good sturdy pillows to prop things up. “Should Ibuki get chairs too..?” She muses aloud, chewing at her lower lip in thought. “How big should we make it, Mao-chan?”

It was no surprise to Futaba that she was the go-to friend for anything internet or gaming relating. After Ryuji asked about her most recent MMO and let her ramble for the better part of an hour, he was sold. Now, he’s in her room with her while she helps him set up an account so she can teach him the ropes and they can play together. 

“Oh man.” Futaba whistles low, patting Ryuji’s shoulder with the little sympathy she could muster. “You okay, buddy?” It’s just an account set up page!

“But seriously, passwords like that are gonna get your identity stolen. Regardless of your self esteem stats or uh, lack thereof.”

Dear Ketchup, 

I have already written a letter to you, upon the request from Kwon Mina, which can be read right here. But since I love you somuch I think that you deserve a second letter and because Kim Jiwon oh so sweetly threatened me to write all these letters he send in, one where I can add up to all the love I feel for you, my one true love ( whom I sometimes may be cheating on with cheese, but you are the perfect compliment to mozzarella sticks ). 

I love you a lot, Ketchup-nim. And as I told Kwon Mina, I believe that you are the one that the one thing that taught me what true love is. You have ben making all foods better in one way or the other, and you make me happy whenver I see you. It is nice to know that I can have this kind of support from a being that is not ... exactly breathing. I .. don’t know what to say more. Maybe I will see you tomorrow when I will put you on my eggs.

Dear Cheese, 

Cheese, oh you lovely creation who is wonderful in both solid and melted form. You have made my life as a bread-eater a lot easier and a lot better. For most parts. Sometimes you just make me feel very greasy and I don’t know if I’m too found of that fact. Thank you so much for being there. I love you especially much in the form of mozzarella sticks, or as a cheddar dip for my fries. I think that I love you a little bit too much sometimes. I should’t eat too much of you, either way. ... does this mean that you are Romeo and I’m Juliet? You are the one thing I want so much but I can’t have it. I have had too many cheat days when it comes to you, when I should have stuck to hummus and carrots but I had fries and cheddar dip instead. I don’t know why but it is just so much better. Then I regret for a moment after... I’m sorry for feeling regretful for eating you. I shouldn’t do that. I know. 

Then there is cheese...the kind of thing two lovers are to each other. That kind of cheesy ...

... yeah I like that, too.
