A country born within dunes and drought, smiling up to the sun and saying: let’s live on together! The sun, surprised and touched, shone even brighter for another day, whispering to the desert, if you want me to shine for you every day and live together, i shall call the rain now and then to join us, so your lands may flourish and live for longer than any kind have! The day after, a storm fell over the dry land, bringing life with it.
Thousands of years passed, history craved on stones buried in golden dunes, the sun shining strongly day after day. How can people living in such a cruel desert be so happy and prosper so much? This is a question no outsiders could ever answer until the day it rains again, and all life are reborn. People come and go, and the land stands firm, alive.
‘ Do you know when I feel more peaceful, Carue? ‘
Vivi loved sunny days, the loud streets full of scents and melodies, days where she could laugh and walk through the city without any fear; seeing so many different faces and smiles. This was Carue’s first bet, but he could understand then, when watching the blurry window. Today, there wasn’t any music, there weren’t perfumes or loud talking. It was as if the whole country was able to understand and respect this sacred moment when rain fell to bless their land and renew it, as it always have been.
‘ I feel like rain washes everything away.... our fears, our sorrows... Can you see? Carue? Everyone here thinks the same..... can you hear their laughter and relief? How everyone goes inside and will be able to deep breath, because tomorrow they know everything will be fine.... This rain.... is our biggest treasure.... ‘
Each thunder echoed as an assurance from the sky, everything will be alright...! Vivi loved sunny days, the loud streets full of scents and melodies, and days where she could laugh and walk through the city without any fear seeing so many different faces and smiles.... But what she loved the most above it all, were those peaceful quiet days where she could only hear the sound of the rain in the outside, dark grey sky once the sun decided to hide for a short while, giving its place to heavy clouds ready to wash this ancient beloved land.

– The Dread Doctors was gone, so was the Beast of Gévaudan. The Ghost Hunt had left and taken the damn Nazi with them. What wasn’t really over was the war between the Supernatural and the Human Hunters that kept going after them, but for now it seemed like Scott’s pack and the rest had it somewhat under control.
At least the Unikite was gone, as well. Scary stuff.
It seemed like Beacon Hills was doing fine. Liam was doing alright with his anger that the chimera had helped him with so, Theo had decided it was time to take a little trip. He didn’t know how long he would be gone, or if he would return at all. They didn’t need him anymore, he just felt like he reminded them of the horrible things he had done to them, just like all the other bad guys they had fought. And to be honest, he was reminded of it every day and night. Especially during the night.
He had to go somewhere else, see other things, put his focus on new things and places. Maybe meet some new people... Not that he was very social anymore. He’d do fine on his own, as well. At least that’s what he told himself.
His blue truck took him all the way to Utah, somewhere outside Delta, and then it gave up on him. Or more like, he gave up on the truck. He was no Stiles, he couldn’t fix whatever was wrong with it. (even if it might’ve been just an easy thing...) So, he got frustrated, gave the car a kick and left it where it had broken down on him.
Theo didn’t carry a lot of belongings with him, which was good. A simple backpack he had thrown over his shoulder. Inside it was another set of clothes and some cash and a water bottle. He had his phone in his jean pocket and a gum package in the hoodie pocket.
After a long, long day of walking, he finally reached a motel by the road and he sighed in relief. He didn’t have much money left, but it looked cheap enough and he could really use a shower. Luckily, there was also a small diner beside it. Maybe he would get some dinner... or just wait until breakfast. He wouldn’t need energy to sleep, after all.
Theo got his room key from the not so pretty elder lady behind the desk that had disturbingly tried to flirt with him, asked way too many questions and wanting him to stay. He excused himself more than three times and hurried out from her little office, accidentally bumped into another man on his way out.
“–Sorry.” He said, but not really sounding that sorry. More like an annoyed teenager being forced by his mother to apologize.

Rain
As a little girl, Hera liked staring outside and watching the plants in front of her house bathe in the raindrops. It soothed her, especially when she was having a rough day or week. She had a special viewing place from her bedroom on the upper floor where she could take a peek and just hang out.
After her parents died and she grew older, every rainfall reminded her of the few memories she could recall with her parents and the life she had lost. For this reason Hera began to dislike rain and refused to even listen to it, so she learned to force herself to fall asleep every time it rained so she wouldn’t have to face the loss and sadness. Her brother, however, absolutely loved the rain and tried to drag Hera outside to play with him. She always refused and continued to sulk and mope in her room of their new house in Kakariko Village.
She was hit the hardest after her brother passed away. It had been sudden, just an unexpected illness that had come at the wrong time. That year didn’t bring much rain, and it was worse than if the converse had been true. Soon Hera was left by herself in a sopping world with no knowledge of how to dry herself off and keep walking.

he hadn’t believed it when he had first seen it. seemed pretty damned impossible. he knew her in passing at school. the days he decided he was gonna attend. he didn’t take much to school. but there was a small crowd there he found it easy to go back to. she was quiet. ‘least he saw her as quiet. she was like a mouse running along on empty noises. and then she was fire. and that was pretty cool, useful as hell, too. if she had seen him he would guess that she was avoiding him. or did she avoid everyone? in his opinion she avoided a lot of things. too much. but that was his shity break down of people. he wasn’t a damned shrink. so break downs weren’t necessary. he sat next to her at lunch. not asking if she had reserved the spot for anyone. didn’t matter much if she had. didn’t mean he had to stay long. he offered her a small “hey.” with a small smile, waiting to see if he was welcomed.
“been seeing you around, don’t look you get out much. we’re having a party, small thing. you’re coming along, alright?”
"I’m saying this for your own good!" - Hikaru
►► “My own good?!” Rain said back to him, shaking her head as she turned away from his voice. “How could telling me that I can’t do something ever be for my own good? You… You sound like…” She paused for a moment, biting down on her lip. “You sound like my parents when they would take everything away from me just so I wouldn’t fail. When all I ever wanted way to try and fail like a normal girl!”
