While it wasn't a major injury, the vampire had to admit that something seemed off with his body today. Being that he did drink blood, it wasn't unusual for Reiji to cough up blood whenever he was sick, but this time it was his own blood he was coughing up.. Did he perhaps switch up his potions and end up drinking something he shouldn't have? That was a possibility..

Send, "That's not right..." for sender to find receiver coughing up blood.

It's a known fact that Reiji loves to read, but, in the past, he never quite had anyone to silently keep him company during those moments. His brothers were far too loud and he wouldn't be caught dead asking Shuu to keep him company.

However, now he had found someone who also appreciated books and liked being by his side, even if they weren't directly interacting. It was such a wholesome and important thing for him to have in a relationship, even if he didn't outright say it. He expressed it in his own way.

"This volume is very interesting. You should read it next, it seems like your genre of read."

Despite being quite tired from all of his work and having to deal with his irresponsible brothers, Reiji wouldn't miss an opportunity to kiss his wife at all. He kissed her again and again, happy that they were together again.

While he is slightly confused, the vampire doesn't let it show. It's likely still the pregnancy hormones, he figures, so he just lets her continue to nibble on him. He's her husband, after all, and it's his job to take care of her.

"....Huh..." My Melody tilted her head. "RenRen? ...Collab?" She had no idea what Reiji was talking about! However, what she did know was that this guy knew her somehow, someway. He just explained it but she didn't really understand what he meant.

"My Melo thinks she saw you on T.V one time. On a BIG T.V....in the city! It was on a building....or something!"

Did the younger vampire really need to have that pety grin on his face as he answered his older brother’s question? No, not really. But Reiji wouldn’t be Reiji if he wasn’t petty at all times.

(randomized angst prompt: reiji had his head slammed into a wall, some of his hair getting yanked out)

Reiji wasn’t exactly sure how he had expected his reunion with the other vampire to end, but whatever he had invisioned in his head surely didn’t involve him getting his head slammed into a concrete wall, some of his raven dark hair being yanked out painfully in the process. The only saving grace he could be thankful for was the fact that he had managed to remove his glasses before the entire ordeal went down, or he would now be dealing with cuts from broken shards, on top of everything else already going on.

With a sigh, he shook that thought, as a gloved hand made its way inside his jacket and pulled out the empty, bent frame of his glasses. They had still shattered, even if he had tried his hardest to protect them, and his vision, during the fight. What a nightmare.

As he sat there, his focus entirely on trying to straighten the wires of his <now useless> specs, he didn’t even notice someone else approaching rapidly.

⌞ As he ran through the city streets, with his suit drenched in rain, and glasses fogged up from the weather, the vampire could swear on his entire family that the present day couldn’t get any worse. First his younger brothers ruined their monthly outing by fighting in public; then the purple haired pureblood ran away, leaving him to search for him around every corner and every alley possible; and lastly, on top of all that, the umbrella he had packed for himself broke, and he was forced to throw it away. Now, he was being forced to act like a such fool, all because of a temper tantrum. « Kanato better pray that he doesn’t find him while his rage is still seething. »

⌞ He hates rain. All it does is make it hard for him to see, and make him feel uncomfortable and wet. It doesn’t help that he is being forced to endure it by unforeseen circumstances.

⌞ Luckily, despite not being able to see, his hearing was still intact, and he was capable of following the female voice up to a place where he could feel he had a roof over his head. Finally, he could rest and wait for the storm to calm down, before continuing the search.

⌞ “The forecast didn’t warn about the wind. My umbrella unfortunately broke, and I will not carry with me a useless item.”

⌞ The pureblood said, as he removed his glasses, using his dress shirt to try and clean the lenses. No luck, his shirt was drenched. That wouldn’t help.
