of all the roommates they'd shared the condo with, none were anything like their current fluffy neighbour. this roomie who had... drawn her into a game of cards with no understanding of the rules. some game that must have been part of the rabbit's(?) world.
✦yeah... Paimon's not sure she'd know how to cheat.✦ eyes running along the cards could find no sign of the fish, twisting the corners of her mouth with disappointment. ✦uhh... do you... have the fish?✦
from the kitchen, Lumine spectated the pair, a mixture of amusement and curiosity as to how the game would unfold taking a seat upon each shoulder.
My Melody wiggled her legs a bit as she hummed while staring intensely at her cards. She had no idea what she was doing, and so she was just making it up as she went along. Whatever was the most fun, she just decided it right then and there!
After another moment of intense staring, she looked back up at Paimon with a blank expression. "My Melo....she thinks the fish card is missing.."
"Magic..." So, he was right. It makes him feel relatively giddy to know that he's gotten an answer right! His tail moves excitedly, but his gaze remains quizzical.
She's soft. Plush. The boop makes his nose wiggle, but he isn't angry at being touched, surprisingly.
"What is your name?"
"I'm My Melody, but my friends call me My Melo." What Sun didn't know is that she also had her own little stubby tail. Said tail would also wiggle when she was excited or happy.
"My Melo is just on her way to take care of some errands, so she can't talk too long...okay!"
"Melo!" It was just like My Melody to go about her day as if nothing happened. It's why Hansol loved her, but a little notif of her return would have been great!
"How come you didn't tell me you got back? I would have prepared all of your favorite snacks~!"
My Melody's ears perked up, and she looked over at Hansol with a curious expression. "Miss Hansol...I've been here the whole time! I just woke up from my nap so I could do chores...okay!"
Evidently, she didn't have any recollection of being gone...
@pleasemymel0dy
"...?" Sun is getting down on all fours to get a better sniff-sniff of the small creature. Looks like a toy he's seen a little girl drop back home. Of course, she ran back to grab it and reunite with her parents.
"Are you magic?"
Instead of being scared or cautious, My Melody crossed her arms and lifted her head; looking proud. "Magic....heh...well...yeas!" Everyone in Mariland was made of magic. The land had magic infused into it's very being after all!
"You have a very talented nose!" Then she reached out and boop'd the stranger on the nose with her soft paw.

Although some of My Melody's memories were muddled, she went about doing chores in the hanok like nothing had changed. She was using a little broom to sweep up some dust. "Lalala..." Had she even greeted Hansol yet?!
@descensionstar
Somehow, My Melody had managed to challenge Paimon to a game of cards. What was that game? ...Well heh, one of My Melo's own making of course. "You can't cheat...whoever has...the card with the fish wins..." She looked up at Paimon, then down at her cards.
The stakes were pretty high...maybe. She was making it up as she went.
@charadrxxmxrr
"Not there..."
"Ah..not there either...!" My Melody had been trying to find Hansol's hanok again. But somehow she had completely forgotten where it was. Although, she was certain she had been there before.
So, she decided to do what she would normally do in Mariland, rely on the kindness of a stranger!
"Excuse me...do you know where miss Hansol's house is? She is a nice lady who has brown hair..." Awesome description My Melo!

"You're a stuffed animal, but how can you be a little girl at the same time?" He shakes his head though, readying to explain that the possessed dolls were anything BUT nice. "They're the kind of monsters that stays under the bed and comes out when you least expect it." He doesn't lie and therefore, he couldn't sugar coat something!
"Don't worry though! I punish monsters for a living!"
"Well, that's just how things are. It's not so complicated, okay!" My Melody didn't think she needed to explain herself any further than that. "Hm...well, My Melo doesn't stay under the bed to scare people or anything like that....so, she isn't a monster!"
"Ah...punishing monsters. That sounds like a tough job..."

Mira stares at the mall entrance, knowing that once she walks through, it's going to be a lot of noise in there, but she knows she needs to go in there. She needed to find a gift, Cherie had mentioned their birthday was coming up soon, and Mira knew that it was custom to get those who had one soon a gift. Even though she wasn't fully sure what to get them just yet, she had been told the mall holds several things store wise, so maybe she could find something that would match a child from the God of Love, maybe.
So, finally stepping in, and shuddering off the loud sounds suddenly assaulting her senses, she begins to make her way through the stores it has to offer. In one of the stores, something on a lower shelf catches her eye, and she's moving down to kneel and look into it before hearing a startled noise coming from behind her, her hair swamping around them which makes her stand back up quickly as she looks towards them.
"Apologies, I did not notice you behind me, I did not harm you did I?"
"Eep!" My Melody let out a little sneeze. The hair had tickled her nose, but she was no worse for wear. "Ah, My Melo is okie dokie miss!" She gave the stranger a cheerful thumbs up. Then she took pause and let out a gasp of awe.
"Omigosh....you're so pretty miss! Your hair...it's like ...the night sky when it's clear!"
"Sorry! Sorry!" Oh, my, she went completely blank, giving him the side-eye. Maybe she was more like Sua, which only really made him have to abstain from laughing even more.
"Ah, maybe you're not like Mizi, she might've laughed. My Melo, right?"
"I'm very rude, and I'm very sorry about it. Can we start over?" He was so fascinated by the way the small alien's switch had flipped, and not because he was a human. Because he was laughing at her.
"Please?"
My Melody was kind and full of sweetness, but she also knew how to stand up for herself when she felt like someone was stirring up trouble for a little laugh. However, she took Ivan's apology at face value. (Lucky for him!!)
"Hm....well okay, just don't have any more rudeness." My Melody reached out her paw. "I'm My Melody, but my friends call me My Melo!"
"My Melo is training her super special fighting style right now..."
"To our house," hansol corrects softly with a smile.
"It is your home too." She brushes a thumb over plush white cheeks and fixes her little flower. "Of course! We will have the most fun festivals to celebrate! First let's enjoy our soup before they get too cold, mm?"
My Melody nodded her head gleefully. Then she took her spoon and quickly began to eat her soup. She was rushing because she wanted to see Miss Hansol's home. She was very excited! Although she did cough a bit, and was told to slow down...
Otherwise, her and Hansol were able to finish their meal in a timely fashion. Then she grabbed the woman's hand with her paw and tried to tug her along. "Let's go Miss Hansol! My Melo can't contain the excitement any more!"
And so...they headed home. Together, once again.
