First World: Starter Call +Opener

“Ok!” Lisa claps her hands together, bouncing on her heels and grinning childishly. “Now that we’ve got you all Official Demi God status, you’re all ready to travel between universes and all that fun stuff!”

Yugo’s hand immediately shoots up as the four newly made Demi Gods follow Lisa through the portal into the empty Void.

“Yes Yugo?”

“So, uh, when do we get to fight the big star monsters?!” His eyes sparkle excitedly as the other three glance at each other nervously.

“Celestials? That is something I hope we never have to worry about and I will not tolerate you chasing any down.” Lisa speaks sternly, narrowing her eyes at the boy who pouts and crosses his arms. “We will, however, be going to another universe to give you all a chance to explore and test out some new powers you may gain! I thought it’d be a good idea to go to a world I know well so we hopefully won’t be forced to stay like you all will under other circumstances.”

“Like who’s? Goku’s?” Jim asks, fiddling with his amulet absent-mindedly.

“Oo! I wanna turn into a Saiyan!” Steven bounds closer to Lisa hopefully. “I wanna fly and shoot lasers and stuff!”

“Me too! Me too!” Yugo’s hat ears stand up as his mood bounds back, waving an arm in the air.

“You can already shoot lasers and fly!” Marinette points out. “Besides, Saiyans have dark hair and aren’t you blonde?”

“Super saiyans are blonde.” Jim points out. “Maybe he’s always a super Saiyan?”

“Ok! Enough of the Saiyan talk!” Lisa laughs, clapping her hands. “I’m glad you’re all excited but I was planning on Sonic’s world since it was my first adventure and I know I can keep you all relatively close together so less worries, ok?”

“I wanna be a cat!”

“Steven!”

“Sorry!” He laughs, falling back to walk beside the others instead.

“Now then, let’s focus on ru-!” Her words are cut short as she falls into an opening that opened suddenly beneath them. The four Demi Gods shout in surprise as they’re swallowed up.

Ok, as an opener and Starter Call, I got too wrapped up for it to be a simple open starter so I figured it’s a good way to just introduce the concept of how the kids wind up in whatever world. Like for a Starter based on the opener!

Steven, I'm really glad you're doing better than you did when... that happened. Your relationship with Mike seems strained to me (and for good reason), but I find it interesting how Mike isn't deathly afraid of you. Is there something I'm not getting? (ignore if this is gonna be adressed later or i missed smth)

(A/N: I'm extremely picky, so my characters are more prone to having favorite drinks than favorite foods. Glitchy's favorite food is chicken noodle soup though)
