So that teaser trailer may have inspired me to draw Prince Lotor. I really hope he does turn out to be half-Altean! (Those ears are telling, though… maybe.)
I also wanted to try using traditional media more, so this was done with colored pencils! It was actually really fun to use them.
I know we haven’t met Prince Lotor in the series yet but I kind of want to see an AU where the war didn’t happen and, idk... Lotor and Allura were in an arranged betrothal.
They both hate the idea of being MARRIED to each other (tho that doesn’t mean they hate each other, I actually think it’d be cute if they were FRIENDS but didn’t want to COURT... and are both terrible at courting anyway so.)
Bonus points if it was their dads who set it up because they thought it would be an AMAZING way to tie their families together (they’re bros for life in this AU and shippers on deck but the kids are just NO.)
I’m not even sure what endgame for this would be, but I need it.

The Altean child had been wandering about on the Balmera for two months since she first woke up. The cryopod had malfunctioned, waking her up late. She wasn’t sure how long she’d been asleep. What she did know was this: Galra were present. And that was not good.
The albino hid deep within the caves, hoping beyond hope that rescue would come.
