Voltron Lion Concepts Part 1/?: The Black and Red Lions

Are these accurate to the mecha genre? No. Would they realistically be able to form Voltron without some bullshit? Absolutely not. Am I happy with these concepts though? Yeah :]c

It's not exactly a VLD AU, as I am watching the old shows as well to gather some ideas- but I think it would be fun to design a hypothetical Voltron and the story it would follow. Whether or not I actually do this is undecided, idk I'm just messing around like usual.

VLD anniversary promt-fest!

Day 7: Black Lion/Past @vldtenyearanniversaryfest

I struggled a bit with this one because I didn't know what to do with the lion but then I remembered the astral plane Shiro got stuck in and the problem kinda fixed itself! (Though I hope it's not too similar to Keiths...) I don't hate it, but I also didn't do anything special with it either (kinda wished I fit Shiro/Keith's bike into the picture now oh well :[)

I wanted the lion prompts to all match hence the same composition for all of them! But I feel I'm running out of steam, and I don't want to miss a day I don't think I can do full illustrations with backgrounds all the time unfortunately (esp since I need the practice with backgrounds) But doing all the prompts is better than potentially missing a day and falling behind!
