Saebyeok would be a pretty bad witch if he didn’t notice a presence in his own little cottage. It was a ‘dark’ presence in a sense, not meaning evil in the sense. But more of in dark verses light, the presence was dark. He wasn’t particularly scared though, he had protective spells set up all around his humble little home. They were put there for protection against anyone or thing that wishes to cause harm. It would take a great witch or warlock to break through them, even then Saebyeok would be able to sense danger.
“Are you going to lurk in the shadows and watch me? Or would you prefer to come out and I could make you a cup of tea. Perhaps give you some fruits from the garden?”
The Witch asks with a small smirk, his back turned to the presence he felt as he continued washing the fruits he had picked earlier today. It was prime time for strawberries, early spring, but Saebyeok kept an array of fruits and vegetables growing all year round thanks to some magic and faefolk to protect the garden from harsh weathers.
“I promise I don’t bite. You’ll probably get more out of me if you come and talk. I’ll wait till your ready.”
He says before placing the fresh fruit in containers, some going in the fridge to keep them fresh, others in a little wooden bowl placed gently in the middle of his table. He didn’t particularly care if the presence in his home ever came out or not. If they were too shy he understood, though it would leave him rather curious as to why they came to him if they did not wish to engage him in some sort of way. Life worked in mysterious ways though. He’ll take everything in stride.
