⚡ (new) human wubfam - wubbox!!!

howdy again :] my human wublin designs have changed a bit over the years, though most of em haven't been shown yet anyway. wubbox being one of em!!!

⚡ overview ⚡

name: windsor bowie volton (yes, that is a pun on volt)

nicknames: wubba (by galvana, as windsor loved going "wub" or "wubba" as a baby)

age: 40s

windsor is a busy guy - successful robotics engineer, and a parent of 20!? that's right!

growing up, windsor often found himself feeling out of place, being seen as eccentric and overly energetic. still, windsor's always been an optimist, not giving up on anything or anyone so long as he could help it!

as for his huge but loving household, it started with one curious trip to the orphanage, then another, and another again- and in the rare cases they'd find an abandoned kid or two, no legal complications could stop windsor from giving them a home.

although mostly busy and frankly a bit overworked, windsor makes sure to spend time with his family as much as he can, bringing back individual gifts for each of his kids from every one of his business trips. whenever he's away, he video calls them every evening - and without gale around, the oldest wublin sibling present is in charge. (the younger ones have their opinions on who's the chillest or the scariest to have in charge.)

despite gale (galvana) always warning windsor not to bite more than they can chew, the stubborn guy somehow ended up making it work, through sheer passion and determination - and gale sure didn't have the heart to refuse helping out either, at least until the kiddos were old enough to look out for themselves. after all, their grandkids were a lovely bunch.

I mean they kinda are in a way? They're birthdays are a few months apart, and they're besties despite their dad's homoerotic rivalry, so they can be twins.

I've actually already talked about what the Vipers think of Amaya (and by extension the other kids they might have) in a reply to a comment on the first fankid fic I have so I'll copypaste the relevant section here:

"[Talking about Amaya's relationships with the servants] The ones who have a more complicated relationship with her (more with Kalim actually) might be Jamil's parents... Simply because of how long they worked for Kalim's family and have internalized the difference in status more than their children so even if they spoil her, there might be a sort of distance (they do love her but yeah). Sometimes (especially) when Kalim is present, it's a little weird. How do you address your son-in-law when he was (still is) your master? And in front of your grand-daughter? Amaya feels things are strange between them but since she isn't aware of the past, she probably thinks they don't like each other :(( (damn I'm really just yapping now)"

Now the Asims... Hm. I think the nervous one here is Jamil lol (I'm sorry Viper family members, I just think you all have stress problems related to having to deal with Kalim and his family for all these years..........) because the only times Kalim's parents are talked about, they seem to be quite easygoing when it comes to education. And their/his children. Not a great combo given everything that happened to Kalim actually! Probably would still try to talk Kalim into telling her about her fate as an heir, but as long as there's a kid who can inherit the family, it should be fine... Maybe? I don't particularly think Kalim's father would really understand the need to focus on a single kid at first because having 30+ kids means he surely doesn't have much hands-on child-rearing experience! They'd be the most intrusive grandparents when it comes to education and everything because "doing it the Asim way is fine, look our family survived all this time!" while Jamil is doing everything to do it his own way and refusing their help as graciously as possible (because there's still some power imbalance here even if he married into the family haha... ha...)
