On the surface [closed]
@slysans It had become a regular occurrence to visit the surface for the fallen human, at least once a month for longer than she can remember. A weekend to soak up some of the natural sunlight, gather supplies that simply couldn't be obtained underground, and quietly observe how the world above had evolved over the years. Today was dedicated to observance, unwinding in the bright light that she missed so frequently. Even her artificial lamps couldn't perfectly duplicate the feeling of it on her tan skin. Wandering through a surface park that she had happened through, the human sank lazily into a particularly lush looking patch of grass and flopped onto her back with a huff. It was beautiful up here, watching the beans of sunlight dance through the canopy of a nearby tree, the way the birds soared to and fro. It was so warm. Her lithe frame bristled with a stretch, melting into the greenery as those lidded eyes flicked about to watch the people move about around her.
