This chapter alone talks about “the burn-out” effect in your career choice, and teaches you how to recognize when you are experiencing it. More importantly, you’ll know what to do differently to ensure your future success. Whether your next goal is personal or business, the sixteen proven techniques and exercises Wendy provides in this chapter will help you achieve your goals easier, faster and more successfully than ever before. Wendy also goes in to ask questions like,
“I wonder how often you are present ‘in the moment’ enjoying where you are right now, rather than brooding about the past, or worrying about the future?” and “How frequently do you talk yourself out of doing something, or listen to other people’s opinions which stop you achieving?”
This is also where she introduces the idea of The Spotlight Process, which is designed to help you identify where you spend the majority of your thinking time. It will also help you assess which thoughts are out of balance and how to change them. Using the TSP, you uncover the stories in your mind which may be limiting you.

We create habits for a purpose or with an intention, we want to get something positive out of the habit at the other end.Generally, it is some kind of a reward that makes us feel good or we believe it does. Because we created our habits in the first place, we have the power and the resources to change them”
This chapter helps you to discover what’s truly important to you: your values & your passion. It talks about life planning and goal setting – and introduces the smart system (specific, measured, action-orientated, realistic, and timed GOALS) In order to accomplish things in your life, Bettina walks you through the course of getting in touch with what you truly wish to accomplish, and setting goals to get there. She also introduces the 4 secrets of success in goal setting.
Now, this is where Ruby Mcquire with “Be Brave – Be Authentic – Be Fabulous!” helps you to get in touch with your true self. Though out our lives we are continuously influenced by the ones around us. In this chapter, she helps us to establish our values, who we are, and what our purpose is. She also introduces the idea of practicing self-care through establishing boundaries and learning to say ‘no’ when we want to. Setting aside times each and every single day to look after you – YOU MATTER!
Next is chapter 5, “Gaming Strategies for Personal and Professional Success” by An Coppens. She talks about how to increase personal productivity and business growth using gaming “cheats” and hacks analogies. Hacks are basically short cuts. Essentially, hacks ensure you achieve whatever you want to achieve in life and business, but faster. When she refers to hacks, she means finding positive shortcuts that produce even greater productivity and success fast, rather than the negative actions of someone hacking into a system for information. She uses the example, “in a business stand point for example, engage your customers or your readers through social media posts.”
In Chapter 6, “Our Seven‐Year‐Cycle of Transformation” ildikó Miklós talks about, “If you were to watch a film of your own life, which part would be the most exciting? Which part would you live again and which are those that you hope never to repeat? How easily can you recall particular milestones, or recognize the markers that brought significant changes into your life?”
This chapter is an exercise work book that helps you outline the important milestones of your life and ultimately measure the growth you have experienced as a person and the transitions you have endured. It focuses on where you have experienced growth in different fields such as health status, financials, spiritual development and more.
In Chapter 7, learn the “7 Keys to Mindfulness Meditation: A guide to the mindful art of living”, written by Elaine Rudnicki. She talks about how mediation is proven to improve self‐confidence, focus and emotional stability, improve all of your cognitive functions such as your concentration, memory, and resilience to stress ‐ all the while boosting your immune function. People who meditate report that the experience of meditation gives them access to a fundamental level of unity and wholeness in their awareness. This gives them a deep feeling of peace, connectedness and relief from stress.
