about.
born to two people incredibly in love, spinner really wishes he could tell you more about them. unfortunately, they both passed away when he was 5 years old.
what he did know was that his grandparents sucked. on his mom's side. they were so stuffy, ridged. he only met them a few times in his childhood, so maybe it wasn't a fair assessment, but if anything his uncle had to say was to be trusted, then spinner knew they weren't for him
so really, he lucked out to be raised by his uncle. who was 22 when he took in the 5y/o spinner. which is fitting, seeing how he's who gave spinner his nickname anyway.
being raised in a rowdy house full of young men was fun. spinner had a blast throughout his childhood, if not a little unstable. he grew up being their little sidekick. when they would play dice games, card games, anything they could gamble on- spinner was their little assistant. which he just loved- he loved being included.
it also helped spinner seemed to be a good luck charm to whoever he was helping out. now- did some just say it was cuz spin would cheat for them? well, yes. did he? sometimes. depends on who it was for. but even when he wasn't cheating, he was genuinely just good luck.
spinner learned how to be fun and charming and the life of the party very quickly and very easily. and it all just came naturally to him. his uncle would say it's all his genetics, and spin wouldn't disagree.
so since his house was the party house of radcliff, spinner was pretty popular. he never really had a set group of friends, rather picking his people individually, and floating from group to group
music was always a pretty big part of his house, his uncle always blasting music throughout the glorified frat house, but spin taught himself how to play upon winning a guitar off one of his uncle's friends in a game of poker
spinner was fired from his last job for beating out his boss in a game of poker. which like- totally not his fault maybe don't fucking suck and go all in on a pair of 8s???
but he likes it at scratch that. he like's that everyone ends up here somehow. likes how music connects everyone.
spinner does like to be a bit at the center of the attention, so i do imagine he played a rather big part in getting the band together. all other creative things though are probably best left in other people's hands. he's great at improv though, coming up with something on the spot for everyone- though that may be frustrating for some of our type a friends.

FACE: when isn't this fucker smiling?? he's basically always got a goofy grin on his face. it's a bit charming though isn't it? he's so easy and relaxed, even if it's a shitstorm for him, he's got that easy smile... i wonder how real that is...
HANDS: he's always doing something with his hands. sometimes its playing air guitar, air drums, rubbing his hands together. and usually he's got something to fidget with too, ofc no fidget toys at this time, so spin makes do with a pair of 6 sided dice, and a deck of cards. he will often just be rolling the dice, or shuffling the deck.
LEGS/FEET: this dude cannot keep still to save his life. always bouncing, always moving, even when he's sitting down- he's always adjusting himself- kicking his feet up, tucking them under himself. kinda insane actually
EMOTIONAL OUTBURSTS: one might think he would be quite emotional, but really he keeps himself in check. any big bad feelings he might have are quickly pushed below the surface. he think's its good emotional regulation, or is it just ignoring all the issues?? you decide.
HABITS: air drums- even just actually smacking things around. lover of chain smoking- be nice to him he started when he was 11 because all the grownups were doing it be nice. nail biting.

INTROVERT/EXTROVERT?: an insane extrovert. always needs to be around people, and will do whatever it takes to not be alone with his thoughts for even just a single moment.
OPTIMIST/PESSIMIST: who wouldn't be an optimist with this kinda luck? but also the most toxic version- it always works out for him so why wouldn't everything always just work out??
INSECURITIES: for someone with an ego the size of indiana- way too fucking many. who is he if he's not entertaining? what if everything about him is just too much? nobody is gonna stick around forever are they?

never call him greg or gregory, he will pretend he doesn't know who you're talking to. very few exceptions to this.
got this nickname from his uncle cuz he would spin out on his big wheel in an insane fashion. and well his last name is wheeler- what do wheels do- spin. he will also accept nicknames like wheels or spin
honestly actually pretty good at this job just don't ask him to close the till ever he's so bad at counting for someone who's obsessed with dice games
he would swear to god he doesn't have a gambling problem. he always wins you see. therefore not a problem.
so incredibly loyal and loving to his friends. they're the most important people in his life. this includes everyone at scratch that- even if they don't get on well- he would do anything for them
has adhd, but this will not be discovered until like 2017- so not in this lifetime
