one subtle detail in the book that i absolutely love is that the Hail Mary crew's names are written in their native language instead of being Americanized or transliterated. Grace is written as "Grace", Yáo is written "姚" and Ilyukhina as "Илюхина".

Its such an insignificant detail but i think makes the crew feel more diversified and also respects their cultural identity.

I had an entire backstory for pre-canon Rocky and Adrian, how they met, their love story, etc.etc. Then I saw the cameo where James Ortiz said they had an arranged marriage that worked out and threw it all out the window WELP. Anyways, here's their first arranged meeting :)
