Imagine once Kaz takes off his gloves, he starts getting sick more often (he used to NEVER get sick) and every single time he freaks out and the others kinda tease him for it (because, really? The bastard of the barrel is scared of a cold?). He doesn’t really care tho.
And then one day Wylan’s talking about the plague (he was the only one in Ketterdam during it) and Kaz mentions that he was on the streets during that time. And the pieces slowly click together for the rest of the crows and. Yeah
wylan: oh yeah the plague sucked
kaz: yea smh my head
after that though they’d all Understand TM and its so nice when people Get It without you having to outright say “lol i’m traumatised”
i think jesper still teases him a bit but in a way that less “lol ure scared of a cold” way and more “hey i suck at comforting ppl but i GOTCHU DUDE” way
